  1. Excellent ~ How often do you need to replace it ? Asking for a friend. 🤓 A-Jay
  2. The unit's clearing height is 22 inches I think. So anything over that will fall back on the machine as I go. Usually require a lot of backing up and then re-clearing that section. I do not always take full width bites because if the snow is very wet or as you mentioned, too deep, it's more effective to take half or even 1/3 of the width of the unit and the machine will eat what falls into it without bogging down. The secret sauce is the right combination of speed (relative term) and clearing width. Easy to get right and easy to know when I don't. btw- the Dual track drive provides exceptional traction through most snow conditions. Pliable, rubber tracks providing solid traction and good balance. Provides Great control on inclines, rough or uneven ground, and icy conditions. A-Jay
  3. Had to get this one on video ~ A-Jay
  4. Same as above. 3-4 years on the the cranker and the TM batteries. (same with boat trailer tires) All 31M AGM's - pretty consistent with the charging but that's the life span on them for me. Of course it depends on how many times I drain them super low. My newer electronic draw more juice now, so that starter is getting pretty hammered most every trip. A-Jay
  5. Big Fish Jeff comes to visit us. Usually in the spring. You might be able to figure out why . . . A-Jay
  6. Broke the Record! NWS GAYLORD, MI. MIDNIGHT OBSERVATION DATA IS IN! With an additional 6.6" of snow since 7pm, this brings the final daily snowfall total (and thus the final tally for the snowiest calendar day on record for Gaylord) on November 29th, 2024 to 24.8". This annihilates the previous record for the snowiest calendar date, which was 17.0" on March 9th, 1942. Snowfall records for Gaylord date to 1940. A-Jay
  7. Some pics / video in the morning should tell the story here pretty good. A-Jay
  8. It's all good. Temps are 'mild' - like 28 - one reason there's so much snow. But there's plenty of room for it and this area LOVES it. Lots of winter sports humans here and they thrive when it comes like this. Snow machines will be running around this place ALL NIGHT. I'll get some video of 'the first snow clearing' tomorrow. It really is impressive. #naddeep A-Jay
  9. Talk to @Delaware Valley Tackle I've had "Several" reels done there. Spinning & casting. If you are happy with Like New performance, IMO the basic service will get you that. btw that Certate is a pretty sweet reel. A-Jay
  10. We are Getting HAMMERED with snow ~ Even for this place, this is impressive. Something just over 2 feet so far. It's still snowing hard 2-3 inches an hour at times. Latest forecast predicts it will stop on . . . . wait for it . . . . . . . TUESDAY ! We're going to be buried like the old days. A-Jay
  11. I put them in my cart and just kept checking it. Eventually the price went crazy low. Good Luck A-Jay

  17. What's the secret ? Just checked out their "Sale" section and that might be the weakest selection of sale items, in the history of sale items. 🥴 A-Jay
  18. I fish what I have confidence in. I do downsize in some situations but it's a small percentage of the time. I'm fishing for full grown plus size adult bass. It's not that they won't take a smaller offering, but by throwing mostly meal size lures that match what they are feeding on at the time, I get bigger bass, less bites, but that's the trade off IMO. If I were simply looking for bites, a smaller bait usually does that. One time a down size bait does pay off for me is when I might have already taken a few fish from an area and I'll go back through it with 'something else'. A downsized version of what I was catching them on initially will sometimes get few an extra bite. Fish some baits. Get some confidence. Learn what works for you. Good Luck A-Jay
  19. Kya enjoyed the Thanksgiving Day parade this morning ~ A-Jay
  20. Yes. I fish for SMB with topwater quite a bit in late summer in some pretty skinny, clear water. Long cast are important. Strike King Sexy Dawg Walking bait in Sexy Ghost Minnow has been very good to me. https://youtu.be/Vsl5A_YmHzs?feature=shared&t=43 A-Jay
  21. Right back at you my friend. A-Jay
  22. Living in NE did NOT prepare me for the SNOW BELT. Lake effect snow is a completely different animal. 2-3 inches an hour is insane and always surprises me that it doesn't make a sound as it piles up. As for liking it - I have to believe that it's why I have fish like this here. Shoveling the roof is almost worth it, almost. A-Jay
