  1. Those pills seem to make them very sleepy. 🤓 A-Jay
  2. Every time we can put a new brick on the wall, it helps. Have a Happy & Safe Holiday my friend. A-Jay
  3. Workout Day 4 for this one and I was all business. Well, mostly anyway. #borninfiftynine A-Jay
  4. Good Luck to you Both ! A-Jay
  5. Nice Job and congrats on getting that squared away. My rigs are always under warranty. So a radio knob falls off, GM's got my back. (and I know I'm paying for it in the long run). btw-there's also a sense of satisfaction knowing the job is done by a trained professional, and not me. #wingit A-Jay
  6. Not new but times have changed. Current C & R of bass has been as rampant as Spay & Neuter every dog and almost for just as long. Is it necessary in every case ? Does it really 'help' ? The debate rages on. IMO, keeping a limit of cutters a few times a season is probably a good I plan. However, the quickest way to become my new best friend is to take a fillet knife to something like this. #nope A-Jay
  7. We hear them all year long but rarely see any. First few snow events we'll often see a few tracks. Folks lose small livestock here all the time, foxes and coyotes are blamed, mink too. Chicken coops get raided regularly. Seeing rabbit remains on the regular. For years my dogs were quite a bit bigger than the coyotes, now they're about the same size. Still, my dog yard is fenced in 6ft tall, but we still keep an eye out. Especially in the winter. A'Jay
  8. Yup - If we actually get the 2 feet, add in some drifting and I'll need to do it once about half way through and again once it's done. The 1332's been tuned, fresh oil change and ready to go since Halloween. A-Jay
  9. We've finally got a few inches on the ground ~ https://www.facebook.com/100000092564585/videos/1087364272549211/ The weekend forecast is looking pretty sporty A-Jay
  10. Enjoy that while it lasts . . . Because like so many things in this life, those valves wear out a bit over time. Someday, at any given moment, you might know exactly how far you are from and the precise travel time to each and every head within a 10 mile radius of your current position. #dudewipes 😎 A-Jay
  11. Great gear. Besides fishing, I use it to blow snow ! A-Jay
  12. X2 Agreed. Maintaining the waterproof properties works best if there are still some there to work with. After that it's too late. Disregarding specific care instructions is not a good plan either. A-Jay
  13. Not sure if you're using something like this as part of how you maintain your gear. But it's been very good at helping to maintain the the stuff I use. A-Jay
  14. But did you use your index finger J ? A-Jay
  15. Gortex Guidewear, HUK uninsulated rain Jacket & Bibbs and a couple of different Simms set ups, are all part of my foul weather gear. The Simms stuff is easily "The Best" fitting, most comfortable and superior at protecting me from the elements. It is also the most $$$. A-Jay
  16. @T-Billy Must be the Hat ! Congrats 🤓 A-Jay
  17. Workout Day 3 on a cold & rainy Monday. But the weather's always perfect in the home gym. #borninfiftynine A-Jay
  18. I'm going with lower gear case designation for Mercury Four Stroke 115hp Pro XS Gearcase Lower Unit 14 x 29 2.07:1 20" Long Shaft It's not a prop pitch. A-Jay
  19. What else do you fish on your crankbait rod? Nothing. A-Jay
  20. A-Jay replied to Catt's topic in Everything Else
Really sorry hear about your tough ride @Catt . Hope you and your wife can get on the better side of this deal as soon as possible. A-Jay
  21. Not exactly sure because I don't what everyone else fishes. I do know I do not fish MH/F rods for everything. Seems like having only a BF hammer in my tools box and that's it. Might be fun but some chits getting busted up too. 🤓 A-Jay
  22. I use both Round and low profile reels. (usually smaller) and I hold them pretty much the same was as pictured. A-Jay
  23. Do you use your index finger to feel the line when fishing bottom contact baits? I tried it for a while, on & off. Never could get the hang of it. Felt a little unnatural for me. I'm a reel palmer and my thumb is the only thing on top of the reel. I still get a few though. btw that's a 300 size round reel so it's a little big. A-Jay
