  1. It's the best. But it took me two tries. Still paying the first one. A-Jay
  2. @gimruis First off, you are a heck of a good stick. Second, Thank you very much for the kind words. I really appreciate it. A-Jay
  3. Never have & never will ~ Watch - Don't watch - Like - Don't like. Whatever. I started making these fishing videos so my wife who can't really fish with me anymore, can see how my day went. Just kept it going after that. See still expects a video from every trip and almost always get one. Many don't get posted publicly and are just for her. Some of my favorites in fact. A-Jay
  4. @N Florida Mike Undoing a life time of a high cholesterol diet is an extremely individualized deal. Working very closely with your medical and nutritional specialist is often The best course of action. Cholesterol is a waxy substance found in your blood and in your cells. Your liver makes most of the cholesterol in your body. The rest comes from foods you eat. Cholesterol travels in your blood bundled up in packets called lipoproteins. Cholesterol itself isn’t bad. Your body needs some cholesterol to make hormones, vitamin D, and digestive fluids. Cholesterol also helps your organs function properly. Cholesterol comes in two forms: Low-density lipoprotein (LDL) is the “bad,” unhealthy kind of cholesterol. LDL cholesterol can build up in your arteries and form fatty, waxy deposits called plaques. High-density lipoprotein (HDL) is the “good,” healthy kind of cholesterol. It transports excess cholesterol out of your arteries to your liver, which removes it from your body. This information is readily available and has been for a long time. Seems folks just ignore it perhaps thinking that none of this will ever happen to them. Sometimes it doesn't but sometimes it does. Your call. A-Jay
  5. Perhaps start with plain whole/real food. Nothing processed. Cook it yourself. Bake, boil, grill or broil, don't fry. You can do this and you should because it makes a difference. don't even know how to respond to this. I am not shocked. A-Jay
  6. Hello Bill and Welcome to Bass Resource ~ A-Jay
  7. I have exactly ONE DC Reel. I run 10 lb FC and use it for jerkbaits. I would not add tape to any spool. Instead simply add a little mono that is just less than a third of the spools depth. Then fill the rest of the reel with your braid. Could do the same with FC but I just spool it all with FC the spool is pretty shallow. Good Luck A-Jay
  8. Sorry to hear that you're under the weather J. Tried it both ways. Training sick just bites it and probably prolongs recovery. Take at least a day off for the win. A-Jay
  9. I'm doing whatever I can to keep this train on the tracks. Seems to be working. Completed two working sets of 7 exercises. Showing one of them here. #borninfiftynine A-Jay
  10. Use an anchor. A-Jay
  11. Hello Logan and Welcome to Bass Resource ~ A-Jay
  12. I use 2500 & 3000 size reels with what most would consider 'deep' spools on all my spinning set ups. Don't necessarily need it for bass but there's some multi-species by catch that happens here where a little extra spool capacity can be a nice security blanket. However the spool capacity numbers posted for the reel above seem like deals most bass fisherman might consider unnecessary. I fish a couple of Daiwa TALTSS3000-CXH Tatula LT Sterling Silver Spinning Reels. (killer reel btw) Line capacity is listed as 10/280, 12/220 Mono. I use 10 lb braid on both. Let's just say there's quite a bit of 'backing'. A-Jay
  13. I'd fish a jerkbait in a septic tank if I thought the Brown Bass were running ! ? A-Jay
  14. This is me also. Love to chunk & wind; anything. While I've caught some great bass doing it, I would sooner spoon out an eye than fish a drop shot, stick bait or tiny little ned thing. A-Jay

Transmission selection buttons on the dash ~ btw - I hate not having an emergency brake pedal to mash at the boat ramp. New truck has a dash button. But after going on two years I'm still stomping on the floor looking for it ! A-Jay
  16. I've been known to tune a jerkbait or two. Strips/dots & hardware gets me where I want to be most of the time. A-Jay
  17. Sorry to hear you're having a hard times with this stuff. Fried food, taters, white bread, sweets, get more exercise, lose weight & HBP. Good grief. Doesn't sound too good. As for experiences with it ? I can't really help you there, my numbers all fall in the 'poster child' category. But I work at it. Good Luck. A-Jay
  18. Back in the day ~ It was early the first morning of a two day trip. We stopped for gas just outside of Hicksville. I was hungry and scarfed down two of them semi-furry hotdogs in the hot glass case on the counter. Didn't wear no underpants going home at the end of that trip. I had to use them. A-Jay
  19. Snow showers will continue tonight for most of Northern Michigan with accumulations up to 4 inches mostly right at A-Jay's house. Most other areas will only see accumulations around an inch but could be more in the higher terrains. Winds will remain strong into tonight, which will amplify travel hazards with the falling snow. A-Jay
  20. My wife strapped a GoPro on Tank this morning. Footage is just him 'randomly running' before she fed him breakfast. Mostly checking out deer & rabbit tracks. He might have pooped I think. #tankslife https://www.facebook.com/100000092564585/videos/1494742791029441/ A-Jay
  21. Agreed ~ I'll say that it's almost always about one's Perspective, Attitude & Priorities. So this latitude & the somewhat harsh climate that is routinely associated with it, seems to provide a very effective buffer zone between my life and deals that are not part of the underlined text above. Side & back sleeper here. Been using the same Tempur-Pedic Contour Neck Pillow, for I think 15 years. May be longer. Considered replacing it may times but really bad user reviews of the updated version have held me back. May ride this one to the end. Either way it was & has been a game changer for my sleep quality. A-Jay
  23. Been feeling it past few workouts, in a good way. Busted out the weighted vest for Leaning Press. Grinders got to grind ~ #borninfiftynine A-Jay
  24. I know. Been just miserable here for like a week straight. Probably be the last few trips out in the Pro-V Bass before the deep sleep. A-Jay
  25. Doggie cam pic from this morning #tankslife A-Jay
