  1. Hang in there @Jmurphy87 and hope your doctors are able to help with your recovery.
  2. The night started with the teams with the best records in each conference and billed as a potential Super Bowl matchup on National television. Hats off to Baltimore, they played mistake free football and won convincingly. Purdy had the worst day as a pro throwing 4 interceptions with Darnold chipping in one more at the end of regulation. At the end of the day both teams were still the #1 seed in their respective conferences. The Niners have some things to clean up in facing the Ravens down the line, but in the meantime they have to take care to business this Sunday in DC.
  3. Sorry for your and your family’s loss @MN Fisher.
  4. Congratulations to you and Mrs @Mobasseron your 42nd wedding anniversary and many more in your future!
  5. That was one heck of a game last night up in the Pacific Northwest. Lock’s game winning dime was reminiscent of Russell Wilson heroics of years past and not sure if Matt Patricia is going be the answer for Philly’s defense. I’m sure my Niners appreciate the early Christmas gift bringing the #1 seed in the playoffs that much closer to Santa Clara. The Niners now have to do their part with a tough Baltimore team coming to town for a prime time match up on Christmas night. Definitely looking forward to it.
  6. Happy birthday @ATA!
  7. I enjoyed a Purdy good weekend of football with the Niners beating Seattle a second time in three games and take control of the NFC West. I was surprised at end of the day there weren’t four teams in the NFC at 10-3 with 4 games left in the regular season. Baltimore is 10-3 and maybe Miami at the end of tonight in the AFC. I was surprised by the Vikings winning 3-0 in Vegas, good defense or just bad O. The Cowboys trotting out a rookie kicker who previously played pro soccer and crushes a 60 and 59 yard field goals. And the biggest head scratcher to me was an offensive offsides because nobody, ie wide receiver, checked with the sideline official presnap. Time to get healthy in preparation for Arizona and the playoffs.
  8. Good answer then, good answer now. I use one of my many empty water bottles for line and dead plastics.
  9. Nice work @Bass Ruttengotta hope your casting arm gets healed up in a few days in time for you to use it!
  10. I think the term Debo used was “Wideback” and he and CMC are interchangeable depending upon the formation and play called.
  11. Definitely a clean, hard nosed football game in a classic playoff atmosphere in Philly yesterday. The Niners left no doubt which team was better, yet still currently hold the second seed if the playoffs started today. @TnRiver46 that third and Juan catch and run for 6 was an outstanding effort, enjoyed it. @flyfisher I liked the sense of humor in your above post. I’d say security should just do their job (provide protection for players, team and event personnel from non-game related issues) and not go after a player for making a tackle, but why bother. Nobody should have been tossed, walk off the 15 and play on. By the way Philly scored a TD four or five plays later. Seattle is up next, Niners looking to sweep the season series. Should be a good one. Good luck all going into this weekend as the playoffs start getting closer.
  12. I can understand but it’s kinda difficult to say it’s had that much of an impact given Philly is 10-1 with the best record in the league. It’s when the bye week is scheduled early in the season like week 4 or 5 that’s questionable in my opinion. Anyway, game is in a little bit so good luck to you and your eagles and I’ll catch you on the flip side. Go Niners
  13. It’s a long season in a competitive division
  14. Beautiful ride @A-Jay and it doesn’t look like a spec of slush is on her from the drive home from the dealership! Looking forward to seeing the interior and your thoughts. Again, congrats as you and Lynn deserve to arrive in style with or without the Pro-V.
  15. I’ve learned a lot here on BR, too much to remember or list. For this I have to say “thank you” fellow members in making me and my fishing experiences better every time I’m on the water.
  16. 😁you gotta play the games on the schedule as they’re scheduled. No complaints here when the Niners were enjoying a turkey dinner on a short week up in the Pacific Northwest. After this Sundays game, I just don’t know how the Niners would get the #1 seed with their 3 losses given Philly’s remaining schedule. And last night’s game some head shaking moments for me regarding the number of penalties not to mention Seattle having to score three times with 7 seconds left in the half before it finally counted.
  17. A quick glance @Obi_Wan at what Glenn provided and it seems the performance of SS is more inline with that of a bass boat.
  18. I kinda disagree @throttleplate regarding Brice Young. Any QB, especially a rookie isn’t going to have much success if he is getting knocked flat on his back or running for his life when he drops back because the O-line is terrible and there’s no running game to slow down the D-lines rush. Having 6 coaches since 2018 probably hasn’t helped Carolina much either.
  19. Congrats on your pending boat purchase @Bucks Bass and Bourbon. Get the biggest boat and motor you can afford is my advice and in your above last paragraph you do kinda make the point as well. Look forward to seeing some pictures of the boat and fish in the future. *of the two models mentioned, the Z19 with a 36v lithium battery system.
  20. Congrats to Philly on another win and best record in the league. I’m looking forward watching the Niners and this weekends rematch. Should be a good game and won’t affect Philly’s #1 seed in the NFC one way or another when looking at their remaining schedule. I gotta say from what I saw of the Buffalo v Philly game (the Bay Area was treated to the Browns/Broncos) it must have been a good one from start to finish with Buffalo coming up a little short. Philly making the plays when they mattered most like that 60 yard FG demonstrated. Go Niners
  21. For a minute I thought you were in a wetsuit @Bluebasser86 and doing some noodlin’ for that big old whisker fish!
  22. You two maybe laying low for the holidays @A-Jay, you are celebrating them together with those important to you after some needed good news. Happy Thanksgiving to you and Lynn.
  23. Happy Thanksgiving all y’all!
  24. I’m with you Paul, doesn’t matter if they’re called turnpikes or toll roads big money is collected Hence the term “freeway” here in California, but that’s also subject to change. Californians are charged around $1.18 a gallon in taxes and fees with the majority of the money going to road maintenance. Traffic is traffic no matter where you are, the more lanes that are added the more cars that fill em.
