Paddle tails...My number one weakness in worms. I think this is the only worm that confuses me how it's suppose to be reeled in.Does the stop and go retrieve work for these paddletails? Some odd reason i cannot get a bite on these things. i like to throw them with at least a 1/8oz weight and work them in like i would a trigged ribbon tail. only a bit faster. i drag or hop them , just enough to get the tail going , through weeds and up drop offs and both the peacocks and LMs seem to like it. they are almost as weedless as they come imo.

my arb is bone dry. my shimanos have a hair of back play in the handles iirc. never had a problem with it.

i always thought paddle tails give off more vibration than the others. i also work them a bit faster than the ribbon tail type worms.

i like crystal method , dj shadow ,some dj krush and some others i cant think of if that counts. i cant do too much of that other stuff. ;D im sorry , but i wouldnt know what to do if i seen someone looking at me dancing like that. almost looks like a bad c-walk.

i have no problem walking the dog at the end of a long cast. i use a 6' M/F BC rig for the spooks and sometimes a spinning rig for the spook jr's if there is a breeze. i also use braid with a co-poly leader.

anytime im out on the water is a good time to fish...

5" stick baits are dink magnets as well imo. id suggest DSing a super fluke , 6"+ lizard , 8" taper tails and other 6"+ baits. i dont DS much since i fish from shore and ive lost plenty of tackle to snags but those should weed out the dinkers.

not too much besides fishing anymore since money has got tight. i used to be heavily into car audio but that was expensive from the beginning. same with cigar smoking. otherwise video games...and alcohol here and there...

ive been thinking about picking up one of those procasters just to see how i do with a RH reel. they probably will be gone by the time i go to snag one up though...

while i havnt tried tons of mono's like other have , seige is my favorite.

im right handed. rod in my right and crank with my left hand. i dont know how you guys fish with a RH crank. mind boggling.

i remember good cartoons. ive probably seen every original scooby doo and tom and jerry. the other day the wife and i were watching some SD , and i told her exactly what noise the ghost made in the next scene (the one where they are on the airport and the ghost guy has a space suit on). low and behold , he did it. she was laughing for the rest of the night. btw , does anyone remember when tsunami's midnight run first came out on cartoon network? when they first brought over dragon ball z to the US and you had to wait a month to get ONE new episode? ahh , the good ole' days of my time. cowpoy beebop was good too. and space ghost coast to coast. and swat kats. and... ;D i bought some smoothie king today. super punch ftw.

i upgraded both the drag and bearings in my citica d and it did make a difference. the bearings are the abec 5's from RM and are pretty cheap compared to the rest. i find myself having to tighten the cast control knob down some since they start up quicker and i maybe gained a few yards. for those particular bearings , i would do it again. now , im not sure how much quality goes up in the bearings on more expensive reels , so they may or may not be worth upgrading in your particular reel. now the drag , those carbontex are just great. very smooth when greased up and plenty of power. well worth the money.

depending how much it was and who makes it , you may be able to get the screen replaced. when i worked sears , screen would be 50+% the cost of the TV... GL.
