Yep. Hand me downs from my brothers.
  2. Don't laugh. The last 3 or 4 times out I noticed an ant or two in the boat. No big deal. Well, Friday I kill about a half a dozen. Today my son has a box with a couple donuts left in it. Once the sun came out so did the ants. I killed about a dozen. I get home and plug the charger in. While I'm cleaning the boat, I watch another dozen or so ants marching down the extension cord. They don't appear to be carpenter ants but I'm not sure. They are black and measure about 1/4"-1/3" long. I have a tin boat and it does have wood in it. How much wood? I'm not sure. The boat is also stored at a storage lot and is backed up to a fence with overhanging trees. So, I could have transported the ants from storage to my house or vice versa. Obviously, I will have to treat the boat, the mulch outside of the house ,and do something about the storage. Any suggestions on what to use? Will ant traps work in the boat or would you suggest treating it with some other type of chemical? Is one brand better than another?

$69.95 That bike is probably worth a grand today. I wasn't so fortunate. I had a regular Stingray in the popular "Bananna Yellow" color which was stolen. Could have been worse. My sister had a Sears Roebucks bike. I shouldn't make fun, I had to wear Roebucks jeans.
  4. My heart bleeds for you. A small boat: Last Saturday-new aluminum prop $140.00 Last Thursday-new onboard charger $200.00 Yesterday(Friday)- new TM battery because of the bad charger $100.00 Be careful what you wish for.
  5. Picked up a 5lbr today prefishing for Sunday. Hopefuly she'll still be hanging around. The pic doesn't do her justice. The bump board is 22"
  6. Sounds like he's lacking/craving attention from his brother? OR enjoys the attention from you. OR he's just being a kid. If you can figure out the root of the issue it will probably be a simple solution. My boy is grown up but my sister has a 9 and 11 year old. They intentionaly annoy the hell out of each other. I think it's part of growing up.
  7. As far as the TM, MinnKota iPilot has the spot lock feature. BUT if you are used to the quick response of cable steer you may not like the electronic steer. I have a Powerdrive V2 iPilot on my tin boat. IMO for river fishing or fishing current, it's the best thing since sliced bread. Also for deep water fishing if you want to stay within casting distance of a hump, reef, or some other type of structure. If you're bed fishing the shallows the PowerPole will keep you anchored whereas the iPilot keeps you within a 5ft radius.
  8. No, but it might chirp and keep you up all night.
  9. Send River Rat316 a pm. He makes semi-custom spinnerbaits in addition to jigs.
  10. Play this.

World's going to end so I'll be dead tomorrow. Really doesn't matter. I'd probably knock back some good whiskey or single malt scotch and take a nap.
  12. Oh...maintaining a boat ain't cheap either.
  13. I bet that had to kill Chris Farley(no pun intended) to play a Bears fan, him being from Wisconsin. Got to hand it to the Lions. The best...worst team in history.
  14. I own one. Got it at Cabelas bargain bin 2 years ago for 10 bucks. Best 10 bucks I ever spent. $100. range Get a Fenwick HMG. Got 3 of those and couldn't be happier.
  15. All you need to compete in tournaments is a working livewell and insurance. First thing you have to do is figure out how much you can afford to spend, then go from there.
  16. If he looks like me I had nothing to do with it. Good luck. Hope all goes well with momma and baby.
  17. How many guesses do I get?
  18. There CS may be good when you've had something break but not so much when it's about spending money. I call the local BPS about a new prop. Cabelas is a 5 minute drive, but I have $50 in BPS gift cards and would take the 45 minute drive to save 50 bucks. They transfer me to their boat center(Is this independent from BPS?) Over the past week I left 3 messages inquiring about purchasing a new prop. I wanted to make sure they have the correct one before I make the drive. No one called back. I called Cabelas this morning. They had the prop waiting for me. Plus I realized I had $20 in Cabelas bucks and another $20 in points. I'll probably end up using the gift cards online.
  19. Red is a good choice in colors as it will hide the blood.
  20. Current moves oxygen and bait. I recently read, probably in Bassmasters Magazine, about churning up the water in the shallows with the outboard, waiting 5 minutes or so, then fishing it. Haven't tried it yet but my home lake has roughly 3.5 million people visit the water every year. I try to get off the lake before they arrive.
  21. Remove bristles, not length.
  22. Sounds like you put it back together wrong. FYI the "pee" holes only function is to tell you the cooling system, ie. impeller, is working.
