If you insist on running it on the outside, pick up some "sealtite"(brand name) to run the wires thru, at Home Depot. It's used for outdoor wiring applications. Attach it to the frame with galvanized "mini's" They also have different types of galvanized connectors. You can mount outdoor handy boxes to the frame and make your terminations. May be a little bulky, but you will accomplish your goal. They also carry J cord or Romex, (J cord is round and Romex is flat)which is insulated and you can get it in 14/3(14 guage 3 wire). That would fit thru the holes you have in the trailer now. Run one length down each side of the trailer and tie them in somewhere near the hitch.

With the volt/ohm meter reading volts, if you put the leads across the fuse/breaker, if you read voltage, it's blown or open. If you read zero volts its closed or good. With it reading ohms it will give you a resistance reading if it's good and read either nothing, open or infinity if it's bad, depending on the meter. Some ohmmeters have sound. If you hear sound it's good, no sound is open or blown.

jenga, an amp is a measurement of current. I believe the word you're looking for is fuse or circuit breaker. I'm not familiar with what is shown in the pic, but a dc volt/ohm meter placed across the 2 leads would tell you if it is open or blown.

Water/bleach mixed 20/1 should kill anything in there. It's also recommended that you clean the livewell after each outing to prevent the spread of disease and invasive species.

Keep plugging away at it. Eventualy you'll be in the money. Took my son and I 4 years to get in the money, and most of that time was learning the body of water we fish and trying different techniques. We are in year 6 of tourney fishing and are ranked 5th out of 50. If you and your pops continue to be partners, first and foremost, keep it fun. When we fun/prefish it's just that. When we tourney fish, the friendly father son competition is over. We are partners. We work as a team, but it's my boat. I don't mean to sound like an a** but I'm the captain. The same goes when I fish with my father in my boat, and when I'm in his boat he's captain. Second, work out a system. The net is always in a mutualy accessible place. I have one livewell in the back of the boat, which he is in charge of. If I bring one in, he nets it and removes the hook asap. I continue to fish, he bumps it and puts it in the well or back in the lake. If he catches one, I net it and he will do the rest. If one of us misses a hookset the other is casting back to the spot. We are always aware of what the other is using and will use different baits until we can develop a pattern. And so on. There are a few guys I fish with that seem to change partners yearly because they don't fish well together. Good luck and many happt tournaments to you and your dad.

Successful people work hard and they work smart. I saw the 2500HD at the Chicago Auto Show this past spring and it was by far the sharpest looking truck at the show. I hope she performs well for many many miles.

I would pick the leader based on the type of fishing you are doing. If I use a leader on flukes and senkos I use 10lb flouro attached to 20lb PP. My flipping stick has 55lb Samuari with a 20lb Tatsu leader(btw the tatsu was a free sample and, at least as a leader, is some of the best flouro I've tried). Also, if you use the albright knot to tie them together, the knot is designed to work based on 2 different line diameters.

I have 1 baitcaster spooled with Trilene Big Game I believe 14lb test which I use for larger cranks and spinnerbaits. The stretch in the mono halps absorb the impact of the strike and there is less chance of ripping the bait out of the fishes mouth. I used to use Cajun Red but it has alot more memory than Big Game.

Not much to it. Break the positive lead somewhere between the motor and battery that's easily accessible. The circuit breaker(60 amp) has 2 terminals probably with male spades or screws. Strip the wires(both ends of the positive lead you cut) and put either insulated female spade connectors or regular female connectors and some heat shrink tubing. Attach male to female and you're done.

Agree with k mac with the emphasis on the last paragraph. Remember this "There are always spots that hold some bass, and there are some spots that always hold bass." Fishing can feel like finding a needle in a haystack, and essentialy it is. The more knowledge you aquire while fishing the easier it will be to find those spots that always hold bass. This means less time fishing unproductive water. Pay close attention to EVERY detail each and every time you go out and never stop learning(try keeping a fishing log). Weather, wind speed and direction, water temp, water clarity, type of structure, weeds(some weeds hold fish, some don't), bottom(mud, sand, gravel, rock), time of day, type of bait, etc. When you develop this knowledge, much of it can carry over to new water. Meaning if I catch fish on lake A with certain conditions, if I find similar conditions on lake B then I will start with what works on lake A. Now to completly screw you up, lakes also can change year to year. Spots from last season may be better or worse this season. Read all you can here, but there is no substitute for time on the water.

They have been around forever, but have only become really popular in the last 10 or so years. Tat's were always associated with servicemen, bikers, convicts, and the dregs of society. At some point in time they became popular. Baby boomers were having midlife crisis' and needed to prove something by getting tat's and Harleys. The younger generation showing rebellion. Blahblahblah. IMO it is just a fad for most Americans. Same with body piercings, branding, and under skin implants. Sure, there will always be a certain few who continue with body mods, but the next generation will find something else that makes them "outcasts" What proves my theory is the fact that women get tramp stamps and guys get the tribal armband. There is nothing unique about that. People want to be part of the in crowd.(Exactly the opposite of why Americans originaly got tattoos) Just think hard about what you want and where you put it. I'm in the trades so it's not a big deal, but I'll never be allowed to wear shorts to a jobsite. If you plan on some type of office job hiding it may be in your best interest. The only reason I say that is I do get funny looks from some people, and I don't blame them because some of the artwork is offensive.
