  1. Are you buying new? The mfg will have a hull warranty. My Mirrocraft boat has a riveted hull. When I purchased it what sold me is that I had looked at 2 used welded hull boats that looked like the aluminum had buckled. I spoke with a dealer and he said welded hulls have no "flex" which causes more stress on the hull. Lund and Alumacraft are both top of the line aluminum boat builders and both mfgs have rivited hulls. That says something.
  2. Life essientials??? I don't see any whiskey in that pic.
  3. Hasn't the medical field made us believe that? Saying addiction is a disease. Not my fault. I have a disease.
  4. How is one "forced" to take painkillers and smoke pot? I don't know your situation Tin, but unless there is a gun pointed to your head no one is "forced" to do anything. Don't drink and drive, don't beat your wife and kids.
  5. Depends on conditions. There is an article in BASS magazine on what and when to use trailers. I can't say that they work better or worse than any other jig. Most jigs end up in the same 2 places. Snagged or minus a skirt in my garage.
  6. Lazy Ikes or Flatfish. Some look like a Creek Chub but wouldn't bet on it. Not sure on the others but I have all those lures from my grandfathers tacklebox. Those are all old pike lures. As far as value, not sure.
  7. Got the F500 a couple years ago. I have it spooled with 55lb Samuari matched to a Fenwick HMG 7'6"MH and love it. The best advantage it has is once you get used to it, it's pretty much idiot proof. I think if you don't need a reel for other uses and it will only be used for flippin/pitchin, you can't go wrong with the Ardent.
  8. 20lb Power Pro on my spinning reels, 55lb Samuari on my baitcasters.
  9. What comes around goes around. It usually just takes a little longer.
  10. That's strange, as it doesn't show on the BPS website. Let's hope for my budget's sake that it's only a BP gas station! ;D Most likely an outlet store. There's a new place open now in Benton, Ky called Fisherman's headquarters. Doesn't look too far from moors, and I think they will have a better selection from what I've been told. If I'm not mistaken the outlet store is actualy a gas station/bait shop. And if you guys haven't gone, Marquitas is the place to go for breakfast. It's about halfway between the Moors and the Blood River.
  11. I also believe if the dorsal fins are separated it's a LM. If it's one long dorsal fin it's a spot.

  14. IMO Glenleviet is better than Glenfiddich but my drink of choice is Canadian Club 12 year old Classic on the rocks.
  15. Blue Fox Vibrax. Don't believe I ever caught a bass on one but used to do well on pike.
  16. You owe me 3 minutes 49 seconds of my life back.
  17. Or you can just give them the "enhanced" pat down. Just ignore the rank cheese smell.
  18. The answer is obivious. 8-)

  21. Not to worry. Those feelings will pass in 60-70 years. I'm not obsessed, just stupid. Think about it. Who in there right mind would spend thousands and thousands of $$$ trying to catch a little green fish? I could live nicely if it wasn't for my boat, my truck, my combos, and the boxes and boxes of lures in my garage.
