  1. I have heard great things about the Paca but never gave it a shot! I might have to order some though.
  2. There is no real difference in sensitivity between braid and fluoro to me! I think you will have the same amount of sensitivity with that set-up. Why the itch though, braid is awesome?
  3. I SERIOUSLY doubt Wally World is going down! NO WAY
  4. With this heat, I would find the deepest drop offs i could and probe them good! I would use a Carolina rig with a big 8" lizard. Also, a big 3/4oz jig with craw trailer bounced off the rocks. The last thing i would try would be a deep crank banged off the rocks as well! GOOD LUCK
  5. I too prefer the Chigger Craw most of the time. Especially in the cold months because they will hold it a LOOOOOONG time!
  6. 7' Powell Max 705C rod paired with an Abu Garcia Revo STX-L 6:4:1 ratio and spooled with 30lb FireLine Braid
  7. Good ol' T-rigged worm
  8. I like and use a fast tipped rod for my crankin' duties!
  9. If you want a real flippin' stick get the Powell 766H. It is very light and has the backbone of a telephone pole!
  10. The action is the glide when they fall, if you could watch them in clear water you could see how they move around, they also have a slight shimmy to them. I do real well with baits that glide like that, but it takes patience. I put one in a fish tank to see the "action" and didn't like it. I have more success with the Chigger Craw while casting and working it on the bottom.
  11. I ALWAYS keep my rod tip low and the spool open. That way you have enough slack to allow the fish to take the lure good. Plus, i get some bone jarring hook sets with the tip low to the water!
  12. I ALWAYS unload the boat after every trip! All my gear stays inside all the time. Even though i have a heavy duty tarp over the boat.
  13. Man that is some scary looking water bro!!!!! NICE FISH THOUGH
  14. I actually like them on my Falcon rods! They are a little wierd to get used to though!
  15. She out fished you......................................didn't she GMAN!?! ;D
  16. My only success with them has been while flippin' and pitchin'. They don't have much action to fish them any other way IMO!
  17. I thought a ricer was a Honda Civic with a 6ft wing on the trunk lid!?!
  18. All the Wal-Marts i go to pretty much eliminated the fishing section all together! They stopped carrying Bill Lewis traps, Zoom worms, Snag Proof frogs, Gamakatsu hooks, Rapala lures etc, etc!!!!! >
  19. Don't know why but the fish love em! I don't use or like them at all! But they catch fish consistently.
  20. About a month ago i hit a heron in mid air! He set the hook into his wing and slammed into the water. I trolled over to it and had my bro hold his neck and body while i removed it. It made no commotion at all and flew away right after.
  21. Usually once a year depending on how hard i fish them. Sometimes two years with no issues!
  22. I have had my best success with Flukes and Senkos!
