Kelli Pickler, is she for real?
Man that is one hick girl ( doesn't make my top ten just for this reason ) Like you guys said how does this person graduate from 4th grade? In her defense whe really is from a backwoodsish background I think. Plus her father spent a lot of time or still is in prison. speaking of education ( going to make an idiot out of myself on this one). but Either I'm wrong or nobody picked up on the mc's pronunciation of Hungary? he was pronouncing it "Hungry" isn't it pronounced "Hung er y " ?

Quality of NFL football anouncers
he was kinda annoying but you gotta admit he did have a great voice. Today's announcers all sound like amateur radio or like talking with cans and string maybe add Len Dawson he was pretty good ( maybe stil is)

Teriaki Chicken help
What is that? Assuming you even have Hardees in your area they have a newer hawaiian chicken sandwich. It is chicken teriaki, with Pineapple and tastes awesome. it is a nice change from burgers and seems healthier anyway but???

Teriaki Chicken help
I do somewhat but not that long. I'll have to try that. The best luck I've had is to marinade some but to add a bunch to the chicken just before taking it off of the grill but it still seems very runny. Have you had the newer Hardees Haw chicken sandwich?

Quality of NFL football anouncers
Probably just me ( Matt Crum ) getting old and crusty but i miss the days of quality announcers. The ones now just don't seem to have interesting voices. In my teenage days and even later we had Curt Gowdy, Johnny Morris, pat Summerall, Tom Brookshire, Don Meredith, Frank Gifford, Howard Coselle, Lindsey Nelson. madden is still ok ( a little over the top ) but I just can't stand many of today's announcers. Baseball seems to have some decent ones still but football stinks What are your thoughts?

Teriaki Chicken help
I love teriaki chicken but whenever I make it mine just doesn't have a lot of flavor. The healthy choice T chicken is awesome and hardees new hawiian chicken is excellent ( I get it w/o mayo to save some cal's) I've had good stuff at cookouts etc and they always have more flavor than mine. Mine always seems runny and seems like no flavor stays on the chicken. What am I doing wrong do I need to add a thickener to get it to stick? or do I need to buy better T sauce? I'm stumped

Curado, what's with all the play?
Interesting, I bet if asked in another thread whether instant anti reverse was important people would be going ape over must have it. Yet have some play in a Shimano and no big deal. That being said I have a Citica and notice zero play and just love how "quality feel " of this reel. I own a Symetre spinning and was surprised at the amount of backplay compared to all of my other spinning reels.

favorite movie
Good stuff there Jeremy t we think a lot a like Got to add The Road to Perdition Field of Dreams was very classic with the baseball history angle Mr Hollands Opus maybe a little sappy but at least a movie about something different and you could watch it with your kids without fear for the most part. Dances with Wolves is a classic

Shawshank Redemption is up there you can't beat Morgan Freeman'svoice A lot of John Wayne movies the great westerns - some had Dean Martin, James Caan, Robert Mitchum also the Green Beret's with Wayne Back to the Future - the whole family could watch and what a unique idea and well done movie Tora Tora Tora and many other war movies from that era of movies Tombstone version the original with and the Kurt Russel newer one I think could go down as an alltime great one My list could go on forever

Who here likes to read?
When I took up reading again after a mnay year abscence I swore I would not fall into the "fiction novel" trap just an occasional dose. I wanted to read to learn thus I read non-fiction mainly about successful people, lots of autobiographies. Abraham Lincoln stuff, Henry Fonda, Norman Swartzkoff, Lee Iococa, Hooward Cosell, Abbot & Costello etc. I resisted the fistion trap but once I read Stuart Wood(s?) it was all over done. I could never put one down. I've read every book he has written ( close to 20?) that I have gotten my hands on so far. Everyone ( probably 50 people or more have all started to read him for several years running. Its a lot murder mystery stuff but the man can write. Much much more captivating than Grisham and the others to me. Instead of "trying" to find a book, starting and stopping 2 or 3 to find one to read I just pick up a Woods as I know I will like it. I have never read a bad one from him.

The wonders of technology
A few years ago my parents had been retired and stopped doing the traveling. I put some components together and built them a pc. They had never used one before and it was a little painful learning qt first but then the 70 yr olds got the hang of it and look out! LOL We live almost 2 hrs away so I used to send them pic's of the kids and scanned box scores from their games etc. They are even into AIM so they keep in direct contact with all of the grandkids and some of the great grandkids. They watch the kid's away messages and they look at it like reading a journal or something. Oh this kid is on a dte or that one is sick! Awesome they love it! Recently I gave them my old digital camera and heck now we've paracticaly got daily pictures. A couple of the smartest things I've ever done? The tech support is tough but it was worth it. I would imagine that their minds are much sharper in the long run as a result.
