#7 is my dog Abby, she's always trying to get to the dip stick through the radiator.
  2. Heard it yesterday...forgot about this one
  3. I gave way too many bucktail jigs away this year. Good thing winter is coming. Time to make more.
  4. These days “getting lucky” means pulling into a tight parking space.
  5. Good to hear, glad you’re healing well. I’ve been struggling with flu like symptoms this week. Haven’t been able to do much. Tested negative for Covid. Can’t wait to get back into it. Let me guess, your first cast is with a spinnerbait? Good luck and listen to your body.
  6. I did too until I broke it. Operator error, not b/c of a defect or anything.
  7. Makes sense 50 was pretty much when I noticed something was different
  8. Sorry JF, I wasn't trying to say you were weak in that department. Hope it didn't come off that way. Good luck anyway
  9. Good to hear @J Francho. Core strength and mobility are near and dear to me. Good luck.
  10. I forgot about the bucktail jig with a zonker strip trailer. Occasionaly, I may have put on a little MegaStrike from time to time.
  11. Lunker City Slug-O

It was exciting. Pitchers pitching to them were juicing as well.
  13. "You better believe it mister or you're dead where you stand."

What a great season he's having! I really do hope he gets the triple crown. Then sign a big fat free agent contract with the Sox this off-season ...
  16. I learned this years ago while reading an article by Bernie Schultz titled Charlie Campbell Walks the Dog. http://www.bernieschultzfishing.com/techniques/graphics/9406bm01.gif Thank you for your post and reminder. I forgot how about the technique and had to look it up again. Sorry OP, didn't mean to go off topic. But, seriously, I like them both.
  17. I collect a pay check and all the headaches that go with it.
  18. I was relocating to TN, coincidently, near your area, to renovate lakeside cabins.
  19. I'm at a crossroads right now. I've been in commercial building construction since I got out of HS. I can't say it's been bad to me, quite the contrary, but I'm at a point where I want to walk away from it and run the rest of my working days in a second career. I've always said I wanted out by the age of 60 which is a few years away. I've started the process on my second career and hoping to make the jump soon. Good luck Clayton, I have my fingers crossed for you.
  20. What a great pic!
  21. 90? That's actually embarrassing to publish that.
  22. One of the things to consider if you're trying to keep the blade arm close to the body of the bait is the flair of the skirt material which could interfere with the blades. Guilty of trial and error on that one...LOL
  23. I read or saw somewhere that you really need to pat whatever you're frying dry, coat with a thin layer of flour, dip into whatever wet mixture - beaten egg, I guess - then dip back into whatever dry - crushed cracker, flour, corn meal or whatever. Let sit on a rack for like 10 - 15 min in a fridge. Then fry. I guess cold food fries better. I don't fry much, but that's what I read FWIW.
  24. I agree with your opinion, my point was that blades spin at different angles. All good
