  1. If you get a good one and not a dud (I got 2 duds tour and smoke s3) then its worth 1/2 off. They both have this noise. Listen closely at the end for the ducks reply I did however manage to fix the spool vibration loud noise issue.
  2. Bought 5/0 for 4.5" yamatanuki not sure if they have new coating
  3. Gave my BFS setup(T3 5g spool 8# braid) quite the workout. The rod tip is rate down to .6gram so it was bending quite a bit. Overall handled it nicely.
  4. Giving up on daiwa baitcasters. Tried and tried to give them a chance. Last 3 I purchased all had quality issues along with the lack of overall performance. The original Tatula I still like. Strike king RES just can't get one to swim correctly. Kistler rod's poor craftsmanship overpriced.
  5. Had 40# very limp and knotted easily didn't buy again
  6. My last PB bass was June 15 2015 at 6.21 pounds. Ive not really came close to that since. Ive caught one 5 pound bass and just three 4 pound bass the past 8 years and two of those 4 pounders were this year. Here my PB Was caught with a Curado 50E 12# SniperFC on a Quantum Smoke 7' M/F rod Keitech 3.8" bluegill flash Still use that combo.
  7. No pop-up with the blocker I use
  8. Gillette Fusion5 one blade lasts me a year shave about once a week.

  10. Berkley Fusion 19 has 1/8 with choice of 1/0 2/0 3/0 size hook https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Berkley_Fusion19_Swimbait_Jig_Heads_3pk/descpage-FNSW.html
  11. $199 Shimano Cumara rod 2009ish IM10 blank with SiC guides. Shimano Cumulus at $350 What rods now compares at $100 let me know. My beloved Quantum Smoke rod gen1 2010 $150 7' M/F 1/4-34 lure rating crisp blank weighs in at only 3.4oz. Old Okuma Helios 7' rod 3.3oz What rods with all the new tech are lighter with the same power and length that isnt whippy at the $100 price point. NRX rods from 2010 were $475 what new rod is better than an NRX at $250-$300? So no I dont believe entry to mid level rods$100-$300 today are better than mid to high end rods $300-$500 of 10-15 years ago. The number one reason for this is high inflation a far 2nd is tech hasnt really improved all that much. Are there any $100 rods with SiC inserts? Alconite and SIC rings were more common on $200 rods now aluminum oxide is what you get. Example St Croix Avid. Shimano Curado $200 rod has fazlite comparable to al oxide. No great advancement in ring material. NRX+ still uses recoil sic guides
  12. Bluegill Flash French Pearl
  13. Daiwa T3 with roroX 5g spool has PPsuperSlick 10# braid Kuying Super Lite 7'6" .6g-10g rated rod Also have a Daiwa SV105 with 7g spool no rod for it as of now. It has 10# Berkley X5 on it.
  14. Braid and 10 pound max But first choice overall is 8# Nanofil luckily I have about 1700yds left.
  15. Shimano Core 50mg7 paired with an Okuma Helios 7' rod total weght 8.8oz. The balance of the combo is very good as well not tip heavy at all.
  16. I did and it has same issue.
  17. Throw something new on the market. My 4 biggest bass this year out of favorite city lake, former gravel pit, no boats no night fishing allowed, was with the 3.5" Yamatanuki.
  18. I tried but got a couple duds and a bit ripped off in the process If lowering the brake dial below about 8 here is how my Tour S3 and Smoke S3 sound this is on an easy cast the more effort the louder they got gets annoying real quick and yes its worse on a quiet lake in person Listen closely at end you will here duck reply
  19. In the rod specifics it states Item Length: 2.08 m Number of Pieces: 1 and grip Folded Length: 178.9 cm So the grip comes off, to me this aint 1 pc
