  1. The WP has not been a numbers bait for me, it's more for finding that quality bite. I'm sure it has potential to be, but I think that's the exception to the rule which is why some guys get discouraged with it after a few unsuccessful trips.
  2. Only thing worth showing from last night's suckfest at Gardner.
  3. Going to come in 2 sizes, 7 and 11 inches I believe and 4 colors; white, brown, black, and grey.
  4. Pretty sure mine has a 1/0 on the front and #1 on the back.
  5. I'm curious as to why the aversion to a non metal framed reel? I have a Casitas and it feels solid to me.
  6. My 130's have split rings, have not fished a 90 though. I use braid with mine which probably helps keep the nose up a bit.
  7. I have 9 of the Ethos. They're great rods for the money.
  8. Smaller one looks like it would be great on a dropshot.

    Welcome!
  10. The 1/16 and 1/8oz that comes with the little minnow trailer and an absolute trout slayer on Wyco, but you didn't hear that from me. I always used part of a trout worm on mine but a 2" grub works good too.
  11. Braid 100 times over. You can catch them with mono and a frog, but there's really no good reason to do it.
  12. I like how translucent it is. A lot of small baitfish in clear water are nearly transparent and almost all you can see is a dark line where their spine is and sometimes the larger arteries, similar to what the line through the middle of that bait looks like.
  13. I would guess you used too much oil and/or grease or possibly used grease where there should have been oil. A little goes a long ways when it comes to lubing reels.
  14. Very nice!
  15. It's not real exciting. The Zman melts and the plastic doesn't. If you've ever had an old tackle box that plastic worms melted into, it's a faster version of that, but it still takes a few days.
  16. Ned and Wacky rig are about the only 2 baits my wife fishes and she does just fine with those. Sometimes I have to start fishing them too just to try to keep up with her.
  17. Welcome from the next state over!
  18. Welcome!
  19. Booyah popping pad crasher.
  20. 7" Slammer and it's not even close.
  21. They're decent baits. Switch the front hook to one size larger then remove the back hook entirely. Just use a straight retrieve and you'll catch fish.
  22. Braid is all I use on all but one of my spinning reels. The spool on the Supreme XT actually has rubber strips that run top to bottom that are supposed to serve the same purpose as backing, to give the line something to grip onto, but I always use backing to not use as much braid at one time.
  23. Have you ever tried to push a coffee stirrer through it and use it like a line thru? I've seen guys that pour baits that size do that and wondered how well it holds? Seems like it should work fairly well with a drop of super glue at the entry and exit points.
