  1. Wow I bet that took some time as it is! What I like to carry on my boat is a dark color and natural color of a soft plastic in the major categories: Action craw dead action craw beaver (4”, 3”) action beaver creature baits finesse worm curl tail worm (4”, 7”, 10”) Senko (4”, 5”) Grubs (single, double, hula) Swimbaits jerkbaits Drop shot baits tubes toads
  2. Excuse my ignorance but how is this different than chicken/bwwk rig and/or tail weighted French fry/worm? Upon further investigation I’ve concluded that it’s a worm with a hole in the middle to make rigging easier Chicken rigged Meh
  3. I think the Ol’ Monster is fine with that hook. It’s mostly tail and I’ve heard the bass recognize that and eat them well. The Senko looks fine too but with it being loaded with salt, it wouldn’t be my first choice. Most people go with a Zoom magnum trick/finesse worm or the like.
  4. But did you get your baits?
  5. I’ve had good luck just Texas rigging with 1/16 oz weight and a Gamakatsu #1 ewg hook pegged with a bobber stop.
  6. They look like a good Hover Shot or Hover Strolling bait. It’s a light nail weight in the head while using a 90* jig hook 1/8” back from the head. Check it out on YouTube. Supposedly good for suspended fish, usually in conjunction with Livescope, but I will be trying it everywhere this year.
  7. When I think of a craw worm, it is an elongated craw with pinchers that are lifelike that don’t have any flapping action. Another juicy craw worm:
  8. They have to. I believe the rules state something like the U.S. flag has to be on the right shoulder and no other flag above it. Although I think I did see a foreign angler (don’t remember who) with the U.S. flag misplaced. *Just read the rules and its US flag either shoulder but above other flags. No rule on having the US flag on both shoulders
  9. Check out Fujita’s bait!
  10. This bait looks interesting. It’s like a 3” soft jerkbait with a bill like a hard jerkbait. Kyoya Fujita, I believe a Japanese angler, may win an Elite series event on Lake Murray with it. He’s using a Keitech 1/8 oz jig with it. I thought it was interesting seeing him twitch his rod tip from the 5:00 to 6:00 position while slowly reeling. Who will be the Guinea pig trying this bait? ?
  11. Have you tried supergluing the baits to the head? Maybe try some mend it to fix the torn swimbaits too
  12. Got Rage Craws in green pumpkin for $1.50 tonight in the clearance section of Walmart tonight. Cleared the peg for a total of 11. Wish I could post the pic for proof but keeps saying the pic is over 1.95mb
  13. My local Walmart had Berkley Powerbait Ripple Shad 3.5” for $1 on a rack near the fishing section. the sexy Shad and regular Shad colors. https://brickseek.com/walmart-inventory-checker/?sku=34873325 Also got 4” watermelon red power worms, 7” blue fleck, pumpkinseed, red Shad green and black/chart. Had some Berkley fusion unweighted Swimbait hooks and heavy 3/4oz and 1oz jig heads for $1/1.50
  14. The Keitechusa site says 10. My guess was gonna be 11. Between 12 and 10 lol
  15. Wow! Chart dye on smoke colored baits in stained water make them functional?! What kind of voodoo magic is that stuff!? If it works with smoke, the most transparent and natural color, it will make any plastic color formidable!
  16. Just speculation but the Stick Bait looks like a Big Bite product to me. I know Gander had a contract with Big Bite. They have that hook slot and looks to be the same colors. If so, they have a super slow fall weightless. Not to say they wouldn’t excel in other techniques like Ned, Neko, Texas, etc. Big Bite also makes the other shaped plastics in the H2OX line. I like Big Bite products. Affordable and quality.
  17. I think it is just lube sold to screw with fishermen. ?That said I bought a bottle on the off season- haven’t tried it yet.
  18. Amazon Yum Dinger deal back on! Hurry before it’s gone!
  19. This got me thinking- if a pack of baits marinaded in BaitFuel, a water based scent, will it affect the buoyancy of said bait? Edit: might be a stupid question- the bait is going in the water regardless and the water doesn’t affect the bait. But does BaitFuel have say penetrants to penetrate the plastic? Maybe if left long enough to marinade will be the only issue
  20. Sinks extremely slow weightless with not much action. I throw it neko or chicken rigged no problem. During the spawn I threw a 4” trick stick when they couldn’t be shallow enough and worked great with its super slow sink. I generally go Yum Dinger for cheap alternative to Senko
  21. Not the bait but the color
  22. Never seen that size before. Well…off to buy some! Dang Bait Monkey!
  23. Thanks. Never saw a need for mag speed craws but you blew my mind using them for night fishing
