21 and satisfaction
Nice catching! I've had three spinnerbaits break on me over the years. I lost the fish on the first one, the second broke as I was casting it out, and the third one broke above the R so I got the fish, but lost the blades.

Using our senses to locate bass
A lot of the ponds I fish have water striders in them. If the water striders are just sitting there, then most likely there aren't any fish around. If they are cutting up and going in circles then most likely there are sunfish or minnows around, and that means bass are close by.

What's your favorite part?
Mine is landing the bass. When the bass is in the boat or up on the bank it means I have put the puzzle together correctly, at least for that one fish.

Favorite blade/pocket knife/multi-tool? What do you carry?
I have a Buck Ranger that was a gift from my brother in law, and a Buck 110 that was my dads. My everyday knife that I use for everything is a Master.

Best Casting Reel for Crankbaits
Daiwa CT100H and a Shimano SLX-150 is what I use for crankbaits. CT100H for baits around 3/8 and heavier, while I use the SLX-150 for lighter baits.

What new baits, rigs, or techniques have you used this year? How successful have you been?
I haven't tried anything new this season. Plastic worms rigged weightless, wacky, or with a split shot have been my best baits so far this year.

Preparing to fish a new lake, help needed
The first thing do is try to look on the internet and see if there are any pics or videos of the lake. Something to help me see what the water looks like, and to get an idea of what the shoreline looks like.

It’s Tough Out There
I'll be heading out real early tomorrow. Around here when the sun hits the water the bite usually dies off when the temps are over 90. I'm taking the UL rig just in case the bass don't cooperate.

Favorite colors from each soft plastic maker
Green pumpkin, black/blue, junebug, black, and some sort of shad color.
-
Texas rig question.
I start off with the eye and knot covered, but after a few fish they become exposed. If I'm getting bites after the eye is exposed I just keep fishing it.
-
Grass vs weeds
If I can work my bait through it, then it is good grass. If I have to constantly pick it off my bait, then it is a weed.

How heavy of a rain will you fish in?
Lightning, wind, hail, and sleet scare me. Rain by itself does not bother me, no matter how hard it's coming down.
