  1. Will these totes hold the clam shell packaging on the Kietech ?
  2. Hope you get rid of the crude soon. I do alot of the same when im sick. As far as your wife, i understand:) Ill check on you in a week,if no answer, i will notify k9 unit : )
  3. What length of rod. A 3500 size reel will have less line issues, on a rod 7ft or longer. The first guide should be no smaller that 50percent of the spool diameter.
  4. Ive got my share of them myself. They gotta rattle sound of their own : )
  5. Your stuff will be fine. Remember, it all gets shipped to the store you bought it from, by frieght. I work for pepsi, and can attest to the fact, that a trailer sitting on the lot -full, will get hotter than any car or truck ever will. Also its usually stored in hot muggy warehouses,as 98percent arent temp controled. I dont cover my rods in the truck, because its no different than laying on the deck of my boat in the sun all day. As WRB mentioned some lines degrade in light over time but i primariliy use braid. I dont use jjs because i wont use stuff i have to constantly babysit. I do bring it all inside however, late fall because i need the space for bow an gun season.
  6. Bass Resourse has the Fishing Flea Market? Id try there before any other?
  7. As others have mentioned, it depend on how large the swimbaits. Best way to find out,is to give it a good try. Youll know wether you need more line capacity. Also it will depend on what size, type of line you use. They are well built reels.
  8. I was taught long ago by my dad, to use my thumb for spool control.
  9. Personally, id put them on the back. For those fish swipping at the bait. but thats just me.
  10. SF Covers? Sorry drawing a complete blank.....

Wordens Timber Tiger. They are not bait baits actually, although i did change out the hooks.
  13. Looks good. Also try it on a baby paca craw
  14. I havent tried them simply because i have more than one lure per compartment. I would think if the retro fit kits didnt work well, the boxes wouldnt either. But thats just my opinion though.
  15. My ford pinto averaged 3 mph faster with chrome painted valve cover.
  16. I still have quite a few actually. From 80s 90s. They are 6'6" down to 5'6", and couple 7'6" down to 6'6"
  17. The 4600 series were my first caster. Currently own 11, and 3 of the 5500. I fished many a tournament with them. They did everthing i wanted, and took abuse at times. The lowpros i use now at times, are a few years old. Personally, i can do any thing with at 4600,5500, that can be done with the lowpros. If push come to shove,id take my round abus & shimano calcutta 100s.
  18. I leave it in my truck to read at lunch. Ihad to call them to see why i got it. Ive gotton it from the start, and at the time it was because im also a life member since 79.
  19. TW has 300yd spools of P-LINE CXX GREEN , buy one get one free. Until sold out.
  20. Yes they are hard to come by. They also sell 4 thru 8 mm tubes, but i think i can find the tubing alot cheaper buy the foot . The pliers or whatever you decide to call them, open squeezing the handle. I think they are a definatly worth a try, over the orings. But at 23.00 just for the pliers, a guy could buy alot of orings. Im going to use them exclusively this year to givem a fair chance, and will be sharing my thoughts then. Now to find the silicon tubing, as i wont pay 3.59 for lil pieces of tubing
  21. Well i had a gift card to TW. So i ordered these pliers and a bag of silicon sleeves. I havent had a chance to tryem out yet because of the lingering cold icey weather. Im just looking for any feed back, thoughts etc, on them. Thank you for looking.

Hey everyone, Im going to be making skirts for a buddy of mine. (jig&spinnerbait). But he wants me to use o-rings instead of skirt bands. My question is what size oring would i need? Thank you in advance.............
  23. Back in the 80s, Culprit Worms tryed the same thing. Worms had a slender piece of the fuzzy velcro, attached to them about an inch long. For the exact same reason as whats on this frog. It just did not work. After repeated use, just being in the water collecting dirt, moss etc. Made it worthless, not too mention the fact the velcro will come off because of the frog being softer than the velcro material.
