  1. New show is pretty interesting and really moved at a fast pace. Hackey really did a number on everyone.
  2. Local tackle stores are going to love you now!!!
  3. Sadly....:)...all across the states fish are being sacrificed in limited numbers for kids and others who have very limited knowledge of what is entailed to catch and release and or eat their catch. Look and see how kids grab fish or drag em up the bank while they smile and giggle and look on in amazement....it's all part of the learning curve. Another one of my favorites is the trout angler who puts his fish on a stringer in the warm water at the surface either by the bank or in a boat and then try's to cook this soft flesh and wonders why it doesn't taste so good. But anyway...good thing the good Lord has made a lot of them fishes...so they can put up with "all" our expertise's.
  4. That is one of the reasons I have felt blessed to have moved to Tennessee (Knoxville area). So much big water...and small too all around ya in less than an hour and a half. Glad you had an awesome trip
  5. This talk of football reminds me of fall coming (my favorite time of year). Ohhhhhhh......kids back to school...less people on the water......bring it.
  6. Now that's combat fishing!!

  11. Personally I think the frog bite is maybe a mouse thing as there are tons of them around and everything eats em. P.S. Hope your feeling better soon....will lift you up
  12. I wasn't sure if I was up to it or not due to I felt there would be a million boats on the water so the boat ramp would be a mess and the waves of other boats would make it not so nice....BUT....I was blessed....so blessed. Launched on a small lake close to the house around 9:30 and got off the water at 2:00. Wore the kids out. I figured they would only last a couple hours. We started fishing for bluegill and it was fun...then some bass decided to play. Ended up with a limit of keepers (released). Not really trying to hard...just wanted some action for them...was amazing. Got back to the ramp and it was easy pezy to get out. On our way home though you could see more boats coming....Was just amazing was so smooth....a gift from above. Tight Lines all
  13. My Dad too had that #@!$ disease ... I was fortunate to get to go on one last fishing trip with him to the Queen Charlette Islands in BC before this disease hit. He was a good man too....One of his favorite lines was It's good to be out here...don't always have to catch fish. Note: He was not a great fisherman...!!! But a good man. Enjoy your memories
  14. Yesterday was one of those days where pre-fishing although not bad dink wise was frustrating as if I hooked a good one it was lost. Not breaking off .... just one of those days. Due to the water coming up on the system I thought well let's pick up some trash floating and it didn't take long to fill up a trash bag and deposit it at the ramp. Hoping karma will help me Saturday in the club tourney. Tight Lines all
  15. It's always a feel good feeling to make our great outdoors look a little better even though so many think it's their own private waste dump. As long as the good Lord lets me be a part of this earth I will probably be picking up after #@!'$.
