  1. Sammy Topwater Texas rig worm/craw my favorite thing !!! Drop Shot shad imitations
  2. Academy Sports today I walk in and see this. All rods sold I asked if any other stores had any in stock and said 1 rod 3hrs away in all of state left? Worth a call to your local store. Can ya'll imagine first guy to walk in and see that deal. They appear to have all Ghost XL models on 50% off from the tags I saw
  3. Overstockbait.com Black Friday finally appeared War Eagle $2.99 Norman NXS $2.31 Bomber $2.66
  4. Tackle Warehouse has always been good for me. We have a BassPro about 40mi from me but there almost useless. Same area has Academy Sports and there pretty good(great sales sometimes) Several times I actually have found best deals on Amazon/Ebay for rod and reels. Sad but no mom/pop tackle stores near us anymore
  5. Netbait C-MAC 11" worm Zoom Ol' Monster 10.5" worm Large Jig with craw trailer. Style/Weight depends on cover/depth of area fished. Jigs are good year around for large bass. I prefer using large worms post spawn thru early Fall but they work all year its just my preference.
  6. Congrats !!! Hopefully you'll get great discounts and maybe even fish with Pro Staff Jeff Kriet one day. That logo does stand out on bait aisle Best of luck in your job
  7. Interested in hearing how the Tatula 100 will handle smaller crankbaits like 1/4oz Bandit 200 ? I've got a couple of Curado70's for Trig and Jig rods but always looking at options
  8. Looks like their Legend series use North Fork Composite blanks, no info on their Omega line. So what's really going on @Catt ? ?
  9. Soft Plastics - Zoom, NetBait Hard Baits - Strike King because I can't find enough sales on Lucky Craft and Megabass I want??
  10. When I moved back to Mississippi I called the Dept. of Fisheries and they sent me this poster free of charge and I bet other States would do same
  11. Spent many days with kitchen table outside covered with the little rascals?
  12. Over 20yrs ago I was watching Bill Dance teach about fishing Texas rigged plastic worms on tv. I went and bought i believe 6" Berkley worm in pumpkinseed and headed down to our neighborhood lake, sure enough after dragging that thing around i felt that "TAP" It's still my favorite way to catch bass !!!
  13. What's your opinion on how it cast lighter lures , 1/4oz Bandit 200 crankbaits ? Thanks
  14. Got a Curado70 this Summer, liked it so much picked up another one during black Friday sales. Using both with #14 Sunline Sniper one on a jig rod and other on a T rig rod. Hope to pick up another for my medium crankbait rod soon.
  15. Great idea !!!
  16. X2 when I'm not on boat a backpack is great I can put as little or way too much in it?
  17. First arrivals TW, Academy and a Zillion M/XF from Amazon to hold Curado 70
  18. Keep mine in original bags but usually will double up contents from two bags into one to save space. Certain craw and worm I use alot of I load 1gal freezer bags to make it easier and quick. Old fishing partner used Plano 3700's and he was usually quicker at changing baits out.
  19. Texas rig trickworm has caught me alot of fish while exploring new water and if I only could pick one that would be it. Flukes early/late in day also produce Spring thru Fall for me. I usually always have those to start but keep several rods out to rotate when needed ex:topwater, crankbait, spinnerbait, chatterbait
  20. I know for me i do see an increase in bass size when I move from a 3.5-4" bait to one thats in 6" range with a larger body profile for largemouth.
  21. Same here. I use to pick it from out in now I pitch best looking spot first
  22. Shimano Curado70 Daiwa Tatula(2018) 7'1"Heavy/Fast jig rod
  23. Never a trailer for me, I use a trailer hook in open water but never around wood or heavy vegetation
  24. #2,#4 for my vote. #2 would work on a large range of treble hook baits. #4 would be a good all around rod for lots of single hook baits. Have stuff delivered to friends house or work to avoid wife confrontation in future ??
