What are you putting on your fishing Christmas list?

Featured Replies

Maybe new rods/reels? Some tackle that you could stock up on? Perhaps something to upgrade or keep on your boat, or even just a fishing tool/accessory?

I’m asking for spring, but like every year, I’m sure I’ll have to wait about 4 months for it ☹️.

Autochart Zero Lines card.

A musky lure and a cup holder that fits in existing rod holder mounts for the front of the boat. Just bought myself a reel and I'll save small purchases for excuses to shop for myself.

Took a few years, but family knows not to try to buy me fishing stuff...except for maybe a few very specific items, such as HUK shirts or Columbia fishing pants.....anything else and we're both likely to be disappointed...me when I open it...them when they see through my fake thankful smile

My bro-in-law was feeling me out about fishing tackle once. There was an infomercial on TV about a telescoping fishing combo. I made sure to tell him it was junk. I got a pocket knife that I didn't need.

Some more sassy shads, and a pack or two of round bend hooks are the only items I can think of right off the top of my head.

Gift cards are always welcome.

As the owner of a '09 G8 GT 6.0, '15Camaro SS 6.2, and '15Chevy SS Sedan LS3, all with serious mods, this pic hurt so good..... Tough choice to make...

Beautiful car. I can tell she was your baby.

Here's the two SS's...

OP, sorry to derail...well, maybe not really..

Some serious rides and You are correct Sir.

Bought her new in 06.

Sold her 10 years later in pristine condition, with 18K & change on her.

Loved her when I had her and loved what she eventually did for me.

I do miss her though - Sure was a blast to drive.

Maybe a Daiwa BG 2500 spinning reel and a Cabelas Fish Eagle spinning rod. I have so much stuff I really don't need anything.

Uhhh! Go fishing ?

My son ask me what I'd like for Christmas. I really don't need anything, but since he asked- a pack of Rage Craws, and some 6" roboworms.

I really need a new outboard. Mines spent long hours river running and stump jumping, and I'm tired of mixing oil

The last time we had a work gift exchange, I said, "fishing stuff".  I got bait hooks, a nylon stringer, and assorted red and white plastic bobbers.  I've learned not to ask.

p.s., The bobbers (smaller ones, at least) do make good decoration for window blind cords.

I'm a full time single dad of a 13 year old and I've instructed him to save his money instead of spending it on me, so I'm buying my own gifts this year. Last week I ordered a couple of swimbaits from Bass Pro but the S-Waver 168S is going to be too heavy for my MH rods. So on Friday I'm heading over to Bass Pro to pick up a cheap BP heavy rod and throw one of my old reels on it. It's been a tough year so maybe next year I'll splurge on a proper reel to go with the heavy rod.

The good news is that temperatures will be back up to 70 this weekend and the rain will stop by Sunday so I should get in some fishing.

Only thing I ever say is to get a gift card for tackle warehouse bc my family has no idea what to get fishing related ?

Huk Sun Gloves but they are always out of stock; as far as non tangible stuff; I'd be grateful to receive some Peace and Sanity.
