just read the TT review, I LOVE the handle, it is honestly one of my favorite things on the reel.

I have one. Best spinning reel I have ever used. Including stradics and sustains. SWEET REEL!!! You absolutely will not regret getting one!

The big ones sure don't cast the same, I haven't used any of the small reels.

my problem is I am running 3 10" memphis'. They are 4 ohm. So its actually 1.333333333 ohms I guess for the three. I used to run 3 10" w0 12ohm so that made it easy to run a 4ohm amp. So its a one ohm amp or something that can run 500X3. If you guys who know a ton more than me think it is pointless, I will just build a new box and sell one of the subs. Thanks for any help. that fish came from somewhere and 4" bass are not mature enough to spawn. There is almost certainly mature sized fish there. Which came first, the bass or the egg, LOL.

NICE LBH!!! I'm looking for an amp that will run 400 @1ohm. Do you have any recomendations? Budget limited, I've got a fishing habit to keep up with!

I have channel cats up to 15 lbs. she fought about as hard as my thirteen pound largemouth. My second biggest fish fought ALOT harder than those two though. I have also hooked a bass on a swimbait that I never saw, but with a buttoned down drag, I COULD NOT turn the handle of my reel! Fought so hard that I became sick to my stomach when I lost her. Fish Chris has caught 30lb cats and 18lb bass, so I figure he is probably THE guy to answer that question though.

The man just gave a bunch of great advice and recommended competitors baits. Listen up!

Oh crap I forgot to be pc there for a second ed! What I actually meant to say was: I caught a couple very respectable 2lb fish that are not quite of the caliber I was targeting. We all have our slow periods dude! Keep chuckin!

I used to make non stop (except gas) high speed runs between colorado-california and wyoming-california when I was in school. Taking the tailgate off made about a 2 mpg difference. My truck gets the best fuel economy at 85-90 mph due to gearing. SWEET! One trip i was trying to set a PB (if you will) from Laramie wyoming to salt lake city utah, INCLUDING 2 stops for gas and a 15 minute stop at subway I averaged 93 miles per hour. I was then "detained" by the Utah Highway Patrol for about 2.5 hours and averaged about 78mph the rest of the way to california ;D Aw to be young and dumb again...wait...I am still young..................and dumb. no we're not, which is understandable. I mean it would be nice if there was an official site we could all use. I have three different ones! One is strictly fishing and diving photos, but i don't know if it would be considered a competitor or not.

Sounds like a TON of extra bandwidth usage and I don't think the site can handle it right now. I wish that there was an approved site to host our galleries with a link in our signature though, that would be sweet!

It is the new model, I have had it for less than a year. It doesn't cast as well. Its noisy. The handles are too small. It is much wider. Not smooth. Without a Calcutta to compare it too though, it is just fine.

I have Cardiff and Calcutta 400's. I had a cardiff first. I thought that it was great. Then I got my first Calcutta, now I hate using the Cardiff.

As for the crucial swimbait rods, yep! my go to swimbait rod is the crucial heavy. Good times, good times!

Complete with a hawaiian shirt and some smoked pig. LOL Had a great solo trip today. I barely mustered the motivation too. I slept 2 hours past my alarm before I got up. After 2 rockstars and some nicotine I was QUITE ready for the day ahead. Got this one pretty much first thing chucking a swimbait off a secondary point. 5lbs5ozs About 2 hours later I was out on the main lake when this one shattered my world. My elbow actually hurts from that bite! When she came up and tried to headshake I thought she was a double digit, but alas, big ol' head and a fairly skinny post spawn body. She went 8-1. A cool fish though, she had a personality...weird. I flagged down some goofball trout fishermen to take a pic. They immediately exclaimed that she was at least 11lbs and the biggest they had seen, followed immediately by trying to tell me how to take MY pictures : Trout fisherman...one beer away from brain dead. Anyways... a fish! That was pretty much it for the day. No other bites. Found TWO big fish together that weren't relating to a bed and they didn't want to eat either > I also went on a mission to catch a spook fish in glassy calm, bluebird skies, and 90degree weather. I finally got one to eat, hooked her on the outside of her head, then she popped off. Spook mission failed!LOL Caught a couple dinky 2 lbers on a worm. Tried for an evening surface bite. Ate burger king. Typed up a post about it.

Man! Sounds like you missed a perfect opportunity to sit in the air conditioning and drink beer... well, such is fishing. do better next time.
