  1. I was going to ask about the weight, thank you! Definitely think I need to try it.
  2. Not sure but it seems baits in the color gold shiner are popular down here in south Florida, especially for peacock bass. Sorry that didn’t answer your question in the slightest!
  3. Rest In Peace Roger. Prayers to his family and friends.
  4. How do you like the rage toad compared to the zoom horny toad? Or have you never tried the zoom?
  5. Ah, ok. Thanks for clearing that up.
  6. Thank you. So do you just try different weights to see which one the bass are in the mood for? Seems awfully time consuming.
  7. Congrats! Please be sure to post your impressions once you get it!
  8. Thanks! I wonder if Mr. Siebert could replicate that skirt. 👀
  9. I believe the megabass sv-3 is compact iirc.
  10. Thank you for such a detailed response! How fast does the spro version sink?
  11. Interesting. I was thinking the medium heavy would be a bit overkill to cast weightless senkos/flukes etc. I was originally planning on buying a Dobyn’s champion extreme hp 743 for this but I really like what I’m hearing about the Okuma X series.
  12. This is one I’m interested in. I was curious about the 7’3 medium fast as a senko/fluke rod.
  13. I’ve never heard of those. I like the look of them!
  14. @Catt does the ROF matter as much when fishing from the bank? Especially if the water is only a few feet deep?
  15. So the spro version is the “regular” version and the KGB Chad Shad is the resin version? What’s the difference between the two? The KGB is over $100 dollars more than the spro version.
  16. I have such a hard time doing that. I always feel like somebody’s watching me. 😂
  17. @Bluebasser86 What are your top colors?
  18. I use FC (tatsu) for jigs. Even my flipping/heavy cover setup has tatsu on it. I use 25lb on that setup whereas most people would use braid. To me, the “slack line” sensitivity is more important. I just don’t have the confidence to fish bottom contact baits with braid.
  19. Thank you @road warrior! Hope to still see you around!
  20. We have them down here in Florida. Bullseye snakeheads. It’s fascinating in the summer, you’ll see them in the skinniest water guarding their fry. The fry looks like one giant moving fluid mass.
  21. Is this better than tatsu? As of right now, all I use is tatsu. Any reason to try this?
  22. Did you not watch the video Glenn posted? Fair point. Some of the places here it’s just not possible to get to the waters edge. Very steep banks on canals. Plus alligators are always in the back of the mind.
