Looking for a great head light for night fishing
Having done night fishing in my younger days I highly recommend a light with either a red or green lens. The bugs can get really bad with a white light. The days of the old coleman lantern covered with bugs are over for me.

Otter Problem.. what do I do?
Awwww....definitely a mafia hit ;). Got ya. Nobody ask any questions and nobody gets hurt. Except the otter. Legit the dog was probably a made man. You can't just kill a made man and get away with it. A message had to be sent.

Otter Problem.. what do I do?
Mafia hit? Did El Chapo get him? A single shot from the grassy knoll? Alien abduction?

Clocks Go Back Tonight ~
Don't know why they don't just keep DST. Nobody I know or have ever discussed it with has liked the idea of the sun going down at 4:30 in the afternoon.

The Road To The Super Bowl 2018
As you can see from my post above, I didn't say the coaching staff was the problem. I only said that both teams have gotten worse in the last 2 seasons and that I didn't think the Browns or Giants would retain either coach. Its common in the NFL to fire coaches when the team gets worse, especially with the Browns who have had 4 coaches since 2011.

The Road To The Super Bowl 2018
Could have been worse....wait, no it couldn't have been worse. My bad. Honestly, I don't see the Browns or the Giants retaining their head coaches next season. I know both only have 2 seasons as head coaches but both teams have gotten worse over those 2 seasons.

Haaaaaa..... Panick Attack!!!!!
@Ben Miller going to a rod shop is a great idea. Those guys know how to deal with problems like this. And it probably won't cost much so its a win/win. As for the paneling, take it down and replace it with nice, new drywall. Some drywall screws, tape, a little sanding and a couple coats of paint and you're back in this decade. Oh and send the velvet painting of Elvis/ Bruce Lee/ dogs playing poker to me. I got a cousin who loves that stuff.

Losing it
On those days I just go back home and crawl in to bed and call it a day. I don't care if its noon. I just give up.

The Road To The Super Bowl 2018
I'm thinking one of those 747's is for TB and Gisselle only.

Looks about right.
You're saving too much. You need to spend a little more on fishing and save a lot less. Just remember, the more money you save today, the less fun you have today. Or something like that. BTW, I've been trying to save $20 for the last 3 yrs and all I got is 3 dollars and a tic-tac.

Let someone buy a spot on your boat?
Yea. I ain't one of those people. I doubt anybody would by a $100 pass to fish with me. Unless they expected $99 bucks back.

Ever run over all your rods?
I started out fishing as a kid at a little pond at the edge of my home town. The pond has mostly catfish and carp released by the old timers that brought them back from the river. As a kid I hung around a bunch of other kids from the block we lived on. We would travel as a pack down to the pond and fish and explore. I still remember one of the kids, Danny being lent a rod and reel by his big brother. He told him if he lost it, he'd get a beating. When we got to the pond everyone casted in and set their rods on forked sticks we had stuck in the mud. Of course, being kids we were soon running around, not really paying attention to our rods. I remember looking at the rods from a different side of the pond and noticing that we were missing a rod. Sure enough it was the rod and reel belonging to Danny's big brother. We all jumped in the water feeling around with our feet. Luckily Danny found it and went under the water to retrieve it. It still had the carp on the line.

Fishing Buddy Excuses
I mostly fish alone since I got the canoe but when I fished with a friend he would use every excuse in the book. When we were fishing out of my boat it was because I was running the TM and taking all the good spots. When we were in his boat it was because he spent most of the time running the TM and not fishing. Once he told me the reason he hadn't caught anything all day was because of a "cold front" that came through. I had no problem with the "cold front" and caught plenty. I think it was the fact that he wouldn't use baits that were proven to catch fish on the lake and instead, used baits he thought would work. Not to mention not changing baits that didn't work.

Losing it
They don't work. I forget mine all the time.

The way i sort my stuff.
Way to organized for me. I just throw my gear in a pile in my spare bedroom and hope I can find it the next time I want to go fishing.
