  1. I was wondering the same. If I still lived in Florida the rides would be awesome for when I fished saltwater bayous. I bet it will show the barometric pressure too. Super nice looking watch!
  2. Didn’t think of that honestly. That’s great idea.
  3. Stuff works great. I glue all my plastics back together with it atleast once I glue the nose of zoom flukes and kvd caffeine shads no issue at all
  4. I wana try it S well that’s why I asked. And I’m also in Iowa. ive fished the trick worm Texas rigged weightless long ago. But never tried it wacky or neko. I’ll have to dig a spinning combo out and give her a try!!!
  5. May sound silly but I’ve been saving my plastics and glueing them back up after trips to save money. Plastics being at $6-9 dollars a pack depending what you use is getting wild. So I’ve been doing some repair and it’s working really well.
  6. That’s too funny. I was literally in my garage tonite looking at nails and screws thinking to myself. I’m not buying any weights I’ll use these lol.
  7. I haven’t fished any in years and years. I found a pack organizing tackle after moving. And I’m considering getting a couple packs in some light and dark colors. What kind are you using? What rigging methods you using? I’m excited to beat the. And with them like I did when I first started bass fishing
  8. I don’t think it matters. I’ve caught fish on salt and freshwater on small paddle tails with lead jig heads. Fish don’t seem to care. Now that said. I like it lol. I like a painted hog head with a nice skirt. You know like the first time you fish it before it hits the water and it’s all pretty for the last time lol
  9. Oh nice man. Right now I use a small Hamamatsu folding compartment box. Works great for up about a 4/0 ewg no bigger tho
  10. Man that’s nice! Would suck to carry around the bank though! And costs more than any of my combos hahaha
  11. That’s a good one I forgot about. The Ned rig. I’ve fished it and fished it. I used to be able to fish at. A private lake that had a clean bottom. And rip rap banks. A Ned head and a hula stik would absolutely smoke them bounced off the bottom. everywhere else I’ve ever fished it in 2 parts of the country it gets snagged and loses tackle, gets covered in much and crap. And doesn’t get bit lol. So I don’t fish Ned rigs
  12. I think in the back of my head I’ve stuck with the EWG because I dont want another hook to buy or carry lol
  13. I use the gamakatsu 3-4/0 ewg haven’t had any issues so far.
  14. Supposed to like: chatterbaits. I’ve lived in Florida and Iowa. Fished them with different trailers and retrieves. Different colors. Different sizes. Can’t catch a fish on one to save my life lol. In either state. whopper plopper as well. Just can’t buy a bait on one of those. then list of things I end up liking that other people don’t or say I should is to long to list lol
  15. I’m with you @HawkeyeSmallie living in Iowa now. 5 pounds is one heck of a fish here. I got on some good fish early in spring. But anywhere I go and if I actually take a scale with me 2-2.5 pounds is a dang good fish for where I am at. But yeah if I get anything close to 1.5 pounds I’m saying it’s a good fish! Lol
  16. Now that’s hilarious lol. When I lived in Florida and we would canoe fish the mangroves. I used to paddle up close and clean the mangrove trees of the lures I could reach lol. Take them home and replace the hooks
  17. Man those sound like trips of a lifetime! I’ve never caught a d**n thing on one

I actually ordered some of the grass jig heads and sniper jig heads and some skirt from you yesterday! Thanks Mike!!
  19. I fish similar types of waters. Junebug, green pumpkin probably bass………or black blue glitter, or watermelon red? Heck idk they all catch me fish in sunny and cloudy days. Don’t overthink it. Just give the best presentation you can. Worry about that
  20. I agree greg hackney and Seth fieder.
  21. Yes it is. I’m totally guilty of the hype. We need this wee need that. This lure blah blah. Man I caught as many fish as I normally would yesterday on mono. Caught as many on mono as I have with flouro and braid ( I do love me some braid I’m from Florida originally) but I’m focusing the rest of this year on down sizing and simplifying everything. As I unpack more fishing stuff from moving it’s just insane. I look like a small tackle store. And just don’t use half of it haha
  22. I went out yesterday. Had a reel fresh spooked with 15 pound big game I had laying around. Brought me back to being a kid and fishing the cheapest spool of Ande mono we could get and split between a few of us for saltwater pier fishing casted amazing and was sensitive. Honestly for price vs quantity. I’ll buy it over suffix elite.
