Finding fish in winter…look for bait, structure or bass?
I don't fish when it's this cold but my brother in law does. He's been out on Çandlwood lake in Conn. Yesterday water temps were 35. They caught fish in 30 feet with Damiki rigs.

Lew's Team Signature Andy Montgomery skipping rod
A tip that loads nice with a good backbone. What makes any rod technique specific ? We will never get 2 guys to agree.thats why I think labeling rods for techniques is misleading. I prefer the old way of length then action then lure weight.

I've had a smallmouth slip a 20 lb drag on an Alabama rig for a short burst.- Drag on Your Heavy Reel Combo
Totally disagree with that. Fish over 7 lbs with weeds piled on them will slip a 12 lb drag.- Is 8-strand braid more prone to fraying than 4-strand?
832 is extremely abrasion resistant in real life. I fish it over rocks on crankbaits with no issues. Vicious no fade braid is supposed to be good also- Favorite cut of steak/beef
Porterhouse followed by prime rib- Test Your Braid!
I've always used a Palomar and have had no issues even when I don't glue it. I really only glue it to keep the tag end from fraying.- Test Your Braid!
Maybe I've been lucky but the ones I've caught only had the bait in the lips and couldn't break the line. But they could bite your fingers.- Test Your Braid!
You da man !!! Palomar is it. And they said braid stinks with toothy critters.- Test Your Braid!
I've glued braid knots for years. You never use glue to help hold a bait in place in a jig head ?- Test Your Braid!
The Viscious knot most likely broke because no fade braid is super smooth and slippery. Try a different knot and crazy glue it.i suggest a Palomar with crazy glue.- All things flipping and shallow water
Especially when it's a biggun !!!!!- All things flipping and shallow water
I love flipping laydowns with a 3/4 oz. Jig. Feeling the strike then trying to get them through the branches is so much fun. You just have to hammer them and go for it. I just a 7-6 heavy with an extra fast tip and a 8.3 to 1 reel. This brings good results and you land most of them.- shimano curado green reel
You obviously failed to read the good stuff I've posted about Shimano and Diawa reels. I've very rarely heard guys complain about how long the Diawa or Shimano stuff lasts or the quality. Most of them say the quality is fantastic. I'm not a Daiwa or Shimano guy but I know they are quality. The machining and designs are far superior to years ago for all manufacturers. This being one of them. What have I said that's factually incorrect?- For the Daiwa Fans a DC Reel
I go fishing to get away from garbage like this.- Are these numbers for real?
I thought toxins were in the fatty organs and tissues and not the meat- Expride broken guide
Warranty it. Don't mess with it. Why should you ?- Bass one xt rod?
I would never use a 2 piece rod for to many reasons to list.- Possible rod damage?
Right on brother. - Drag on Your Heavy Reel Combo
