  1. Which flourocarbon are you using ? What lb test. What size reel?
  2. As anyone who has been here a while knows I love braided lines . I started with original spiderwire which I loved.i could never figure out why they changed it. My love for spiderwire started and ended there. I went on to bps braid because it was cheap but it was flat back then so I broke up with it.since then I've tried every spiderwire out there and never felt the love. Then I found power pro original. At the time it was the best made. That love affair lasted about 5 years. Then Berkley came out with a much smoother braid which I've forgot the name of. The next year they redid it. Then I tried tuff line domin8. It's a great line but fades way to fast.tried Diawa j braid and turned my reels yellowing 1 trip. It was also to soft and backlashes to much. Then along came Sufix 832. It's a great line that I used for years. So over the years Ive mixed mono and flouro in with my braid. I always had that little devil on my shoulder saying the fish cared about seeing my line. So now I've gotten off that bandwagon andim going back to all braid. This put me on a trip to find something even better than 832. Then I found Vicious No Fade Braid. I've spooled my baitcaster with 30 lb. This line is smoother and rounder than 832. It is also wound tighter from what I can tell. It doesn't dig and it casts wonderfully. As far as I can tell it has zero stretch. It's very sensitive which I like. The best thing is it doesn't bleed or fade at all.i used to color the last 6 feet with a black marker but that's over with now. I definitely have found a new favorite line and I'm back to all braid. It fits my style of fishing . Since I don't have to worry about my line quality I can concentrate on other things to catch more fish . So if you fish braid and are looking for a better braid I suggest giving Vicious No Fade Braid a try.
  3. 12 inch worm with 1/2 tungsten weight trigged unpegged on braid.
  4. I don't get what people see in regular power pro. At one point it was the best but those days were 20 years ago. There are so many superior choices it's not funny.power pro V2 is one of them.
  5. I damage way less rods in transport with rod sleeves and reel covers. It's not even close. That and a little better care when fishing will go a real long way. I pay way to much of my hard earned money to treat my $500 combos like garbage.
  6. Total misinformation.Braid backlashes way less. Braid is far easier to remove backlashes from. Braid is also not damaged by backlash. I never had problems with toothy critters and Sufix 832.
  7. Never had a problem One of the biggest myths ever
  8. Call the manufacturer.they will most likely send you a tip free if charge.
  9. Lew's Custom Lite. 4.9 oz and small. Fantastic reel.
  10. It will cast slightly lighter with no problem
  11. Stop reelng your lure up until it smacks the insert
  12. I'm a slack line Flora is more sensitive than braid
  13. This is the best tip Glenn has ever given.
  14. Lew's custom Lite shallow spool
  15. Lew's custom Lite shallow spool
  16. I wrap it around a foot long 1 inch diameter dowel and pull. Usually you will brake a hook.
  17. Yellow vicious No Fade Braid with no leader. Use a black permanent marker to color the last 6 feet black. In your water a leader is pointless.
  18. I went to lighter rods and reels to help with tendonitis and arthritis . A side from medical help it is the best thing to do. I love my 4.9 oz. Lew's reels.
