Bad Memory On Brand New Fluorocarbon
That means more spool tension or thumb needed
-
Wacky rig senko/dinger
IMHO it's extremely important. I've never gotten bit if it's off.

Went to Cabela's to get my new reel spooled up, left with a scratch on the reel
I would have made them replace it.

High Capacity Baitcaster
I'd get a Lew's bb1 pro at 199$. 160 yds of 12 lb test.it casts great and is super smooth
-
Vicious No Fade Braid
having been a proponent of 50 lb braid on baitcasters to lessen dig ins i put 30lb vicious no fade on 5 rods. it casts wonderful and was easy to remove backlash.i spent 8 hours on the water with no dye on my hands and no fade. the 30 lb did not dig or wind knot.

What would you spool it up with?
30 lb vicious No Fade Braid. Trash the leader

Heavy worm/jig rod
I would get the Dobyns but one power higher.their heavy is really a mh. Unless of course that's what your looking for.

What makes a person…
I appreciate value but. 99$ LFS is as low as I go. Why do people buy this garbage ? There are enough challenges during an 8 hour day fishing that I don't want to deal with equipment failure. I learned that when I started fishing again 33 years ago.

What pound test straight fluorocarbon for a medium heavy baitcaster?
topwater ?
- Your thoughts on this.

Lew's Tournament MP vs Tournament XP.
Mp already has pinion support. That's the difference between mb and mp.

Lew's Tournament MP vs Tournament XP.
Speed dial is a nice feature. You can upgrade to a speed dial. The mp has more gear ratios available. I also like the black finish
-
spinnerbait reel?
Lew's bb1 pro in a 6 ratio
-
Lews reel font on brake wore off?
I've been telling people that for over 30 years

Recommend my next Fishing Rod
I usea 734 for senkos and worms .

Recommend my next Fishing Rod
If you stand I would get a sierra microguide7-3 735 flipping stick. Can't beat the quality of the warranty for that price. Some 50 LB. Vicious No Fade Braid . Do yns run soft so I'd use a 734 for a fluke. By judging by the rods you have I think you could use a stiffer one in your lineup.

Black vs Green No Fade Braid for flipping
I used to color the first six feet black but that's over with now. It's my first year with Viscious no fade braid so I'll let you know. I predict no difference .

Straight braid
Straight braid is the way to go. Fish are not line shy. Smaller lines let lures act more natural. I've tried mono and fluorocarbon and on bad days I've never caught more fish than I did with braid.if you fish with mussels you have to check the braid. Thicker braid would be helpful.

Smallest baitcaster that can handle 17-20lb fluorocarbon
Lew's custom light but it's $299
