  1. That means more spool tension or thumb needed
  2. IMHO it's extremely important. I've never gotten bit if it's off.
  3. I'd get a Lew's bb1 pro at 199$. 160 yds of 12 lb test.it casts great and is super smooth
  4. having been a proponent of 50 lb braid on baitcasters to lessen dig ins i put 30lb vicious no fade on 5 rods. it casts wonderful and was easy to remove backlash.i spent 8 hours on the water with no dye on my hands and no fade. the 30 lb did not dig or wind knot.
  5. 30 lb vicious No Fade Braid. Trash the leader
  6. No but your getting a brand new rod. Not a repaired one. Just my preference .
  7. that could snap off depending how bad it was bent
  8. Dobbins has a hassle free replacement policy you pay the fee you get a brand new rod
  9. i dont buy Lews reels under 100 either
  10. then id go next power up to ssm 735c
  11. I would get the Dobyns but one power higher.their heavy is really a mh. Unless of course that's what your looking for.
  12. I appreciate value but. 99$ LFS is as low as I go. Why do people buy this garbage ? There are enough challenges during an 8 hour day fishing that I don't want to deal with equipment failure. I learned that when I started fishing again 33 years ago.
  13. lol
  14. Mp already has pinion support. That's the difference between mb and mp.
  15. Speed dial is a nice feature. You can upgrade to a speed dial. The mp has more gear ratios available. I also like the black finish
  16. Lew's bb1 pro in a 6 ratio
  17. I've been telling people that for over 30 years
  18. I usea 734 for senkos and worms .
  19. If you stand I would get a sierra microguide7-3 735 flipping stick. Can't beat the quality of the warranty for that price. Some 50 LB. Vicious No Fade Braid . Do yns run soft so I'd use a 734 for a fluke. By judging by the rods you have I think you could use a stiffer one in your lineup.
  20. If you stand I would get a sierra microguide7-3 735 flipping stick. Can't beat the quality of the warranty for that price. Some 50 LB. Vicious No Fade Braid and away you go
  21. I used to color the first six feet black but that's over with now. It's my first year with Viscious no fade braid so I'll let you know. I predict no difference .
  22. Straight braid is the way to go. Fish are not line shy. Smaller lines let lures act more natural. I've tried mono and fluorocarbon and on bad days I've never caught more fish than I did with braid.if you fish with mussels you have to check the braid. Thicker braid would be helpful.
