  1. Sam Kinison just wants you to: SAY IT, SAY IT!
  2. As revival said use the 3/0 for the 3.8 inch baits but I do better with the bigger keitechs on the 5/0 hook. Give them a try.
  3. Tour versatile is a good option also. Great for treble hook lures but can work for jigs.
  4. Love my megabass rods but the hook keepers stink!!!
  5. Depends on what size jigs you plan on throwing but I would go with the mh. I also think there are better rods than the e6x at that price point.
  6. cast out and let it sink like you've been doing but then lift the worm slowly about 3-4 feet and let it drop on semi slack line. Mix up your retrieves. Id also suggest trying the ned rig.
  7. I throw at least 10–15 casts each for a couple baits until I dial in a pattern. I try to hit a promising spot, Throw 3 or so baits until they tell me what they want and at what depth they are in. I usually try to be patient and hit good spots with multiple baits from multiple casting angles. I start with baits that cover water and then slow down with soft plastics.
  8. Anyone fish newfound lake or the pemmi river (bristol area) recently? I plan on fishing them both later this week. Trying to figure out water temps and where the bass are with the spawn. I’m guessing water temps will be around mid 60s? I will be targeting mostly bass but also will throw spinners/spoons early morning for trout. Thanks in advance
  9. I use them. Saved me over $1000 the one time I flipped my kayak.
  10. Hit the androscoggin River. I don’t know it well enough to provide specific spots but I’m sure if you do a little research you can get some info. I’d throw spinners, original rapalas and small plastics. You can catch anything it that river.

I’ve ordered from them multiple times. Mostly saltwater gear but I have no complaints.
  12. Shout out to Siebert outdoors. Ordered a bunch of jigs and fogys/chatterbaits the other day and they shipped in a couple days. Going to be delivered in less than a week from order date great products!
  13. I’m assuming you’ll have a refrigerator in the hotel room. Freeze 12 or so water bottles. 12 oz size and put 6 in the cooler with the ice. They will help keep the ice from melting. Replace or switch out the water bottles each day. I do this on my trips and it helps a lot.
  14. Anyone hear if wachusett is still opening Saturday?
  15. Middle comment
  16. I find it hard to believe a Kistler employee would say that. Check out the comments https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=4016974098328124&id=124249747651580&ref=m_notif&notif_t=video_reply
  17. They said it on Facebook. People went nuts!! It stayed up for a couple weeks but they eventually took it down.
  18. I have a couple kistler rods. Won’t buy any more. Love that they are American made but they have raised their prices quite a bit over the last couple years. When people asked why....the Kistler site reply was that ”if you can’t afford them than that’s too bad! More rods for those who can” Yikes!
  19. Try Kittery trading post. I think they are having a 17% off sale and that includes megabass.
  20. Lots of good feedback. Whatever you want to buy wait for a sale. Never pay retail!!!
  21. Only place in mass that I know they check for lead is wachusett res. My friends have had to reel in their line so the officer can check their weights. But that was a few years ago. Wachusett is shore fishing only. I would think they might check at the quabbin but I don’t fish there. ive been asked if I’m using lead at newfound lake in nh but they didn’t check and I was in a kayak with 6 rods rigged with various jigs/weighted worms etc.
  22. Garbage sale if you ask me. Typical Tw these days. Nothing that I’d like to buy (on my wish list) is on sale.
  23. Go get yourself a real backpack, Toss a few tackle boxes in it and call it a day. Most “fishing” backpacks are overpriced and crappy quality. I bought a good backpack and Ive had it for over 10 years with no issues.
  24. Disney is the place!!! Took the kids to Disney last year. I would see 6+lb bass in all of the small ponds. I tried to buy me and my 2 boys Mickey Mouse rods at the gift shop. Wife was suspicious of the purchase.... I would have got away with it but my wife heard me ask the guy where I can get some rubber worms or shiners.
  25. Are you guys using a trailer? If so what?
