Thats great to hear. I have a vanquish and am looking for something a little heavier. If the twin power is anything like the vanquish I will love it! Thanks for the feedback.

@FishTank How is the first month or so of the twin power? I am thinking about getting one. Have also considered the Stella, but would rather not spend that much.

Not sure about the destroyer, but I think the jump up in the croix rods is worth it. The legends are great rods.

Pro V 202 GL. New in January to me, so havent completely figured out the cons. Coming from a 1850 sportfish. Pros: 1. Fiberglass so heavy and wind wont affect us as much as our aluminum did. 2. Much bigger front deck than our old boat. 3. Much better storage! Cons: 1. 60 gal gas tank. put in $62 and filled it up too 1/4. 2. Fiberglass and dual axel trailer. Much heavier/harder to move around by hand. 3. Fiberglass, so a little more fragile.

Assuming you dont go too low in weight, Im not sure there anything you couldnt use that rod for.

Yeah, I pretty much agree with Jar. I was against watching clone wars for the longest time because of it being animated. Finally gave in and enjoyed it.

I don't hate 7,8,9 as much as most Star Wars fans but I don't overly enjoy them. Just kind of meh. I did think 9 was the best as you did. 6 still remains my favorite. If you really want a Star Wars rabbit hole watch the clone wars and rebels. A lot of questions get answered in those movies. someone else mentioned it, but Rogue One is fantastic and Solo is also pretty good.

Have never used them, but apparently the Sebile Flat Shad Snagless work well in timber. I have been meaning to pick some up just haven't yet.

Agree with the poster above. On a different note, I just got the Vanquish C2500S in yesterday and used it today for the first time. And wow. Just an incredible reel. This is coming from my experience with 3 different Stradic Ci4 generations. Definitely a noticeable difference.

I have this same rod. I normally prefer the XF action of the JWR but for different techniques I like the fast action. I would scoop this up for 350.

Depends on how long it will be before the reels get used again. If it's going to be 1-2 weeks I just leave them alone. If it's gonna be a month or more I will loosen them.

Yeah so I guess I have the 2013 version of the Ci4 stradic, I think (the FA). All the spools I can find are the 2016 model. I will check out the link. Thanks for the info.

Question for you fellas. I have a stradic Ci4 2500FA I would like to get another spool for. However I can only find stradic Ci4 2500HG spools. Does anybody know if the HG spool would work on the FA? Or another spool that might work on the stradic Ci4 FA? Thanks!

But both a 1000 and 2500 and return one that you don't like. I'd go with the vanford, but if you like a 1000 size you might have to go stradic to get the proper balance. I have the 6'4" LEP and use a 1000" but you have another 8" to balance.

No experience with the expride, but have some with the adrena series. If they are similar, the croix will be a little faster action which I prefer. You may or may not. And the croix will handle a heavier range of baits, but not be able to go as light as the expride. Others might confirm or contradict this. Both will be good rods.

I got that rod this fall (872s) I had an 1/8 on it just messing around. I thought it casted well for the type of rod. I was pleasantly surprised. That was a 1/8 with a plastic on it though.

True about Bama! so the 12 team playoff will be fun, but I don’t think you will get the 2 best teams playing in the championship. You might some years, but every year seems like a stretch. Maybe that’s the some of the point. You get the hottest teams playing each other.

That’s not a very good metric considering they played one common opponent without Hooker and they were both drubbings. And if you think Tenn. beats Bama with Hendon then I’d say you’re nuts…or maybe I’m the nuts one. I’m not advocating for Bama to get in, cause they don’t deserve to be. I’m getting tired of the ‘they have two losses too top 10 teams on the final play’ argument. They also have two win to bad teams on the last play or last drive I don’t remember which. Tennesse has be en very impressive this year and if the game with Georgia was a better game they probably have a chance of getting in. On another note. Ohio state doesn’t deserve a spot either. Their resume with that loss to Michigan at home is awful. If TCU loses today you might as well just have Mich. and Georgia play right now.

While the results are the results, Tennessee isn’t the same without Hooker at QB. And that does get factored into the things by the committee.
