Megabass P5 Destroyer
Nice. Would love some feedback on the different models once you get some time on them.

G.Loomis Conquest 842c or 843c?
If you are throwing mainly 1/2 oz and up to 3/4 oz, I would go with the 844c. 3/4 oz will stress the 843c in any cover.

Are the shops doing a bad job of spooling?
After I spool my spinning reels, I drag my line out in my yard and reel it in with no resistance three times. That usually gets rid of most of my line twist. I will usually do this to my line every few trips depending on the line type and how much I use a certain reel. Braid can usually go longer without having to unkink the line. Fluorocarbon is the worst at line twist.

One rod many reels
Why not multiple reels to match with multiple rods? Why limit yourself?

Anyone Here Microfish?
I would love fishing there, especially since I've been keeping fish since a young boy. I would have aquariums full of exotics.

Spinning rod for trout?
That's some really good advice there.

Best Senko Rod...????
I use the 6'11" PA last year and it performed well. I have it paired with stella C2500S and 15# braid. I mainly throw 5" senkos under docks with it. The tip is fairly stiff giving good hook sets on a 4/0 or 5/0 EWG hook. It has enough backbone where you can muscle the fish out from under a dock if needed. All in all, I feel that it's a pretty decent Senko rod.

One Shimano baitcaster you have to have...and why?
If just one reel, then it would be the 2020 metanium. Smooth, cast well, feels solid and light enough to go on most rods. I think it has the best of all properties. I do wish it came in a 5 gear ratio though.

What is this fish?
Thats a white perch. They're pretty plentiful in most bodies of water.

How expensive is it to own a bass boat?(maintenance related)
Its depends on where you live. In the South, we don't have to winterize. We use our boats year round.

Gear Ratio Help
I'm the same way. Most reels are either 5's or 7's. 5's for all my crankbaits, spinnerbaits and chatterbaits. 7's for worms/jigs, topwaters and jerkbaits.

Norman speed clips on 10xd
I have been using the speed clips on most of my hard baits- crankbaits, jerkbaits and topwater. Makes it quick and easy to change out lures. I haven't used it on anything that big though.

Recommend me a good cat fishing spinning reel in the $100 range please.
I would recommend the Daiwa BG series or Emcast. The BG is aluminum and built like a tank. The Emcast has the baitrunner function for fishing live bait. Both are around $100 or less. Shimano Nasci is another decent reel.

Trout lures
Sometimes it takes the fish alittle bit to acclimate. Usually several hours or the next day would be best. Gives them time to get hungry too.

Daiwa Steez Limited and New Alphas
The scorpion is a JDM only reel while the curado is a USDM reel. The scorpion has always been alittle nicer than the curados.

SCORE! major upgrade!
The 2020 metanium would be the perfect match for the rod. I had the 2020 metanium on my conquest 844c, and it felt great.

Megabass P5 Destroyer vs G. Loomis Conquest
I was wondering the same thing. Maybe get rid of my Conquest 844 and 843 to get the Xbites and Dark sleeper. Has anybody actually held the P5 in hand? How comfortable is the new handle design. I know everyone holds their rods differently but in general some designs are more comfortable than others.

Daiwa Certate Reels
I see most of your links are from Amazon. Amazon is a terrible place to get a good description on items. Use the link to Japan tackle because it list the models and you can compare the specs. Japan tackle is a good place to get info like handle lengths and spool sizes.

Money no object spinning jerk bait rod and reel
I mainly use my spinning jerkbait combos for smaller jerkbaits. Exist 2000 on a expride 6'10" med light with 10 lbs J-braid, 8 lbs leader. Stradic CI4+ 1000 on cumara 6'8" med with 8 lb nanofil, 8 lbs leader. You may want a bigger reel and longer rod, if you want more distance. Also a vision 110 would require a more heavy action rod than what I use.

Berkley Cutter
I can say I'm not a fan of the skinny cutter. There is no weight transfer system in them and they tumble through the air. Resulting in tangles with the line often. The regular cutter 110 and 90 size i like. They have a wider side to side darting action than some other baits. The action is similar to a x-rap but alittle wider to the side on the jerks. Plus the 110 size seems to get down a little deeper than similar jerkbaits. I threw them last year with decent results.
