Is it just me or is that VMC the sharpest point of them all?

Stormr Rain Gear
No first hand experience but a local guide I know has a stormr suit and says he really likes it. I posted a topic awhile back about rain gear and they were suggested several times. I didn't want to spend that much on bibs so I ended uo getting frabill which seem durable and are comfortable but I've yet to test them in bad weather. That's all the help I can give, good luck

Favorite water you've fished.
Good topic although I haven't traveled enough to have a good answer. As of now I would have to say lake Seminole

Non tournament guys
Well I fish the occasional tournament but for me it doesn't change. I keep 8 in the boat, normally 6 on deck unless I've really got em narrowed down to one presentation. And there are a few rods I could get by without but its nice being able to switch quickly without retying all day. Sometimes I just feel the need to fish a lure even if its only for a few casts and I never pick it up again.

Fishing fathers
As a new father I have been thinking about the future of my son, one thing I thought about today was if he will share . My passion for fishing. Especially once he's older and not just doing it to spend time with me. So I'm curious for the fathers out there, how many of your kids share in your passion or if they don't? I'm especially interested in the fathers with grown children.

Mileage Curiosity
Ok there are several factors at work here. I work for ryder as a diesel tech and they just sent out a newsletter explaining just this. 1. Engine and trans friction increases in cold temperatures due to cold engine oil and other drive-line fluids. Although synthetic helps 2. It takes longer for your engine to reach its operating temp. Which is when it runs the most effeciently 3.Warming up your vehicle lowers fuel economy. For example idling gets 0 miles per gallon. 4.Colder air is denser, increasing drag on your vehicle, especially at highway speeds. 5.Tire pressure decreases in colder temperatures, increasing rolling resistance. Your tires actually flex and flatten out when they meet the road every revolution, this doesn't happen as efficiently in cold temps 6. As stated above winter grades of gasoline can have slightly less energy per gallon than summer blends 7. Battery performance decreases in cold weather, making it harder for your alternator to keep your battery charged.

Chipola River
Never bass fished it but I've floated down it. The current isn't too strong. There are a few access points, the ones I know of are mainly springs. I know of at least one place to rent a kayak/canoe. That's about all I can help with

What lure caught your biggest bass in 2017 ?
I netted this fish for my partner during a tournament in June. She weighed 9.25. All shoulders no belly, caught on a black spro popping frog

What kind of line would you use
Jigs, t-rigs, weightless sinking worms I use fluro Frogs, punching or anything around grass/pads and all spinning rods get braid. Topwater I run braid with short mono leader Spinner baits/buzzbaits - braid All cranks and jerkbaits I use straight mono All rods are backed with 15lb big game mono except the cranks/jerk which is straight mono. This saves money so I'm not filling up the spool with expensive line

Tournament Prep
Normally a few buddies that don't mind sharing info. The only definite info is water temp and possibly what cover or structure they noticed bass around. I don't pay much attention to what lure people caught them on. I'll read local fishing reports as well but they are hit or miss most of the time. I try to rely on practice if that's allowed and from there just fish what's in front of me.

Ultravibe Speed Worm
There's still one on my rod most of the time, although I don't use it much on top. Most of the guys in my local tournaments still using them quite a bit as well, no denying they work

Cable to lower unit
Its a simple quick connect compression fitting like tom says. Push the two metal rings on each side in together. Once they compress you can pull the hose out. Don't have to do both sides. Just push in the metal ring and then pull the hose out. Sometimes they are a little tough

Cable to lower unit
Possibly the speedometer hose. Is it toward the front of the foot around the shift rod? I'm not sure about your clasp though. I will need pics or a better explanation of it to help

Cable to lower unit
Pictures would be helpful. What kind of cable? Or is it a hose?

Need help with 150 EFI
Your throttle and shift leakage are connected under the cowl. Adjusted to far one way and it grinds going in because its throttlds to high, adjusted the other way and it does what yours is doing. Sorry hard to explain. Like i said if you get a helper to work the controls while you watch all the linkages from different angles it will probably be obvious to you
