  1. Oh and I threw a spinnerbait and a rat l trap on the points and around the docks since the fish were feeding heavily on shad. I also skipped a senko around the docks. I actually started the day throwing a jerkbait but didn't for very long, in hindsight I should have gave that a better chance. But hey you know what they say about hindsight.
  2. Had my first club tournament this past Sunday on Lake Wylie. Air temps were in the mid 40's with a pouring rain 80% of the day. My boater actually lives on the lake and has a lot of knowledge of it. We fished a lot of rocky points and flats and also a lot of boat docks. We never really put anything together, so needless to say I zeroed and my boater only caught one. The winning weight was around 9lbs. Even with the weather conditions and no fish I love fishing these club tournaments.
  3. This is another article talking about graphite rods, I found it pretty interesting. http://www.flwoutdoors.com/article.cfm?id=141123
  4. You have to tape it on. Heres some fishing outtings that camofish posted, check out his rod in some of the pics. Thats how you have to do it. http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1170251443
  5. Wave Worms Tiki Stiks
  6. I buy Real Magic at BPS. I dont know how it compares to other brands, but it works well.
  7. I use nothing but Big Game on my BC gear. Currently i use 12lb and 15lb. 12lb for my M rod, which i basically just use for treble hook baits. 15lb for my MH rod, which i use for spinnerbaits, T-rigs, and lighter jigs. When I get a H rod, Ill put some 20lb on it and ill use it for C-rigs, heavier jigs, frogs and light swimbaits.
  8. WOW! A Revo STX for 50 bucks is an awesome deal. The baitmonkey got me while i was in Wal-Mart, luckily it was for a bunch of clearance stuff so not too much damage.

Yea I just got back from Wal-Mart, and they were rearranging a lot of things. I didn't see the reel and gun counter. They must have been getting rid of a lot of stuff to make room for new things. I found a lot of good deals though. I picked up some Zoom Flukes, Zoom Baby Brush Hogs, 2 Hart Buzzbaits, some FLW Trailers, a Mann's Super Frog, and a Spro Dawg 100 all for 11 bucks. They also had P-Line for 7 bucks, but didn't grab any of that.
  10. I can't tell you how they compare to other lenses. But I can say they are awesome sunglasses. I just got a pair the other day with the black tint and love them. You won't be dissapointed.
  11. Berkley Big Game is a good line. I use a lot of it never had any trouble with the stretch. I would load it with some 10 lb. Or for a low diameter but high strength you might want to check into some braid, a lot of people will reccommend Power Pro for this.
  12. Spinnerbait got my vote.
  13. Double willow leaf spinnerbait.
  14. Welcome Aboard. The fishing articles on this website are awesome, a lot of good information. Check those out.
  15. Looks like yall had a heck of a day on the lake. Awesome Job!

I want to thank you guys, GMAN and whittler, for coordinating this. I think it will be a big hit and a lot of fun. Posting pictures of what we recieve is a great idea.
  18. My favorite is the only one I have, 100 size in American Shad.
  19. I feel with spinnerbaits you can accomplish the same thing with both kinds.
  20. I just got my first Lucky Craft and it happened to be a Pointer, I hope I have as much luck as you do with them. And also I was looking through one of your galleries on the Ford website, I think it was, and you have caught a lot of very nice fish.
  21. Im going to agree with KU and suggest the Citica, I love mine.
  22. Ive heard good things about the Daiwa Procaster 6+1. I have the Daiwa Procaster Tournament, that is a little cheaper and it has performed very well for its price point. The could 6+1 could only be better. http://www.basspro.com/servlet/catalog.TextId?hvarTextId=51500&hvarDept=100&hvarEvent=&hvarClassCode=1&hvarSubCode=1&hvarTarget=browse
  23. For all my casting I only use 2 pins, straight across from each other.
  24. Would anybody happen to know the weight? And how would I go about adding a hook farther down the bait?
