I’ve taken my canoe all across the map to go fishing, from the Atlantic Ocean in SC, the gulf of Mexico in FLA, lakes and rivers in northern Michigan, to class IV whitewater in TN and KY. Canoes aren’t just for small water, they are for any water. One of our favorite things to watch on TV is a YouTube channel called lost lakes, it’s a married couple that paddles a canoe all over Canada, including the north side of Lake Superior. You would love that channel @Swamp Girl I don’t care what the trends are, I love my canoe. I have tons of boats but if I could only have one, it would be the canoe I can’t put my wife and dog and a full size cooler in any of our kayaks

I’m allergic to bees but it seems to be getting better as I age. I weedeated up a nest of yellow jackets in the ground last summer and got 16-20 stings , only one of my hands got really big and numbish, weird thing was they didn’t sting me on the hand. When I was 8 I got into a hornets nest and got stung several times and then went way into the backcountry wade fishing . The reaction didn’t hit until we were in the middle of nowhere and my cousin had to carry me out the last bit and drive me to the hospital where I fainted

I used to wash golf carts back when I was 17, there was ALWAYS a yellow jacket in every empty beer or Coke can.

Interesting stuff. I hear a lot of pros say fish won’t show up on live if they are glued to the bottom, maybe those are the ones that aren’t near bait ?
