One of my first dates with my wife I was going up steam thru some rapids and the current started taking us downstream sideways. We hit a rock and she went flying , somehow the canoe righted itself and I was still standing there in it. After she got done spitting out river rocks and water, she was not thrilled to see me standing in the canoe haha

I paddled a tiny cheap kayak 3-4 miles into a maze of mangroves out of ft myers Florida once. Didn’t realize the sunshine state got fog in the ocean……. And it did. Couldn’t see jack, just had to guess which way the hotel was. Luckily I guessed correctly 😂

Got the first black bass of the year today

I feel your pain man, my wife has caught one too and never lets me forget. She also got a 36 lb striper

Had some heavy rain but it stopped for a while , got the kayak out with some nightcrawlers. It was about 33-34 degrees but I got a nice SMB and yet another walleye. I’ve caught more walleye than bass this year! That’s a first . Todays was just over 22”

Pouring rain here, snow would be a welcome change compared to 33 degree rain

It’s a tornado, you can’t run from it haha. If they lived, they did a good job. Haul butt 70 mph and you throw a bunch more possible bad endings into the scenario. You can’t take a man’s dog after he got hit by a tornado
