  1. First frost, the farmers almanac didn’t have that on the bingo card
  2. I use spot lock in my canoe sometimes, costs less than a whopper plopper. it’s only about 3 lbs but you need lots of rope if the current is strong
  3. Hard to be stealthy in a jet! I can hear them coming from at least 4 river bends away
  4. It’s stronger than the skin on my fingers, can confirm
  5. My takeaway: mono is strong
  6. It’s funny @Team9nine, we get all the weather you describe yesterday. “Have your people call my people” 😂
  7. @Fishlegs, I can catch white bass on spinnerbait fairly regular, black bass only hit them bi annually 😂
  8. If they had a placeholder they would’ve beaten the ravens, burrow has been on fire .
  9. Got a tip from a friend there were some fish schooling, my goodness were they ever. They were so violent, I was even able to feed one a spinnerbait. Got surrounded and even splashed by fish crashing thru shad. I took some video of far away fish schooling after I had already gotten several, should have ran some video when I was sitting in the middle of the blitz but I couldn’t stop casting long enough
  10. @Bird, installed the new fuel lines that came with it and it started right up. My wife told me when the kit came in the mail to install all the new stuff (carb, primer, filters and lines) and I just installed the carb only and went to cutting . She said “see why I said to install all the new stuff?” And I replied “don’t tell me my business devil woman!” 😂 😂 the old line in the gas tank was coming apart from the inside, looked normal until I tried to pull the filter out . Then the inner lining came out with it and it was pinched shut like a straw in a thick milkshake. I was wondering why the saw seemed like it wasn’t getting any fuel haha
  11. That’s a pretty decent record for the jets 😂 😂 😂
  12. No thanks 😂. I’ll take a sharp stick in the eye instead that’s a job for lawyers
  13. I wish self insurance was…. Legal? We would probably all have enough money to fix our own stuff if we didn’t have to pay insurance bills and then subsequently have to fight with the company to get them to pay out
  14. It’s always a good time when A jay is slinging the swing head. Rage bug ?
  15. If she ain’t sinking don’t change anything
  16. Sounds like you just left state where you could’ve done it !
  17. Took them a working truck and now it’s broke ? Ouch. Yeah seems fishy but then again 5500 isn’t all the way redlined, is it ? I suppose you might need that kind of power once or twice a year out on the road. On the other hand you might could avoid revving that high for years if you got lucky and poked around nice and slow like me 😂 kind of sounds like they are either trying to screw you or accidentally screwed you
  18. I don’t have a garage or any dry hatches on the boat. And our air is wet all the time 😂
  19. Yep, I’ll go fishing 3 days in a row during a downpour, when I come home I go to bed instead of drying things out haha . Which is why I like the perforated tackle box and try to keep terminal in dry bag. But you can’t keep it all dry when you have to get it out and tie a hook on when it’s raining
  20. I live in a rainforest so it’s inevitable. Plano has one tackle box that is completely perforated
  21. I thought meanmouth when I caught it , then when I posted the pic I could see some lateral line
  22. @Bird, it ran really good for a session . Next time I tried it the primer bubble wouldn’t hold any pressure. The carb kit came with a new bubble, gas lines, and fuel filter. I only installed the carb, it seems like I should have installed the bubble too haha. I’ll keep ya posted I was surprised to hear you had trouble from the stihl, I’ve always heard they were nearly bulletproof
  23. guessing this was a spotted bass but not sure ?
