  1. I saw scrolling IG that wheeler and one other guy had like a 40 lb lead on the rest of the field, think they’ll go back to 5 again?? 😂
  2. Did you start at the bottom ?
  3. Sounds like the same ole story , I’m not missing it 😂
  4. @RipzLipz, good thing he doesn’t live next to @gimruis
  5. Here’s how to beat the heat, ironically. Dressing up doesn’t do it for me
  6. I’ve carried pliers on my boats as long as I can remember and none of them will cut a hook anymore , won’t even open and close 😂 they work a lot better when I keep them at home
  7. Never tried a fluke when it didn’t work
  8. I knew Glenn would know! @RipzLipz, it lives near a bird feeder across town now 😂
  9. I want to say southeast pond management is a big one, can’t exactly recall. Lemme see if I can find the articles, there are tons and tons and tons here on bass resource
  10. Mo money mo problems
  11. Armchair? You mean 32 foot ladder and a squirrel trap instead of a remote control Already did some sampling today
  12. A pond owner never puts his muskrat issues to rest bob, stay vigilant
  13. Im a wildlife/fisheries biologist but I’ve spent 99% of my career on the wildlife side, however I’m always listening to offers 😂 id go with one of the big pond management companies that always get suggested here management strategy often involves heavy culling. A friend of a friend has a nice private lake where you have to kill anything below 2 pounds. They regularly catch 8 to 12 pounders in middle Tennessee.
  14. Alright what about those monster power boxes people take off grid? https://www.anker.com/products/a1761?variant=42755705208982&utm_source=google&utm_medium=pmax&utm_campaign=us_anker_pps_consideration_pmax_A1761_purchase_ost&utm_content=pc-pps&utm_term={20590338643}_{}_{}&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQiA2eKtBhDcARIsAEGTG42o0O_wqxdLJLpbH60MW_V9gqlSSUI-cQTVjvDFn1PDUAfwYq16zsoaAsh9EALw_wcB
  15. If you come across the right person, I’m sure they could make a bracket
  16. Personally, I don’t like fiddling with leaders when my hands are frozen and the wind is blowing. Or anytime for that matter.
  17. Just don’t set the hook when I guzzle the last drop
  18. It’s always good to have generator at home in storm country as well, two birds with one stone
  19. I’m seeing some clearing
  20. Anchor and drift and paddle 😂 you’d have to dominate the tournament trail to warrant the cost of a generator
  21. Or the creel surveys. Ask a bunch of liars what happened out there and extrapolate that into an equation and call it “data” 😂
  22. The 2019 bassmaster classic is a good one to watch if you want to see what SMB fishing is like here, especially for all you sonar haters out there. Same with pickwick 2021 elite event. The river was flooded and brown and people were getting 5 lb SMB with red crankbaits (wheeler) and 1 oz spinnerbaits. Zaldain got the big bag of the tourney with a 6-8” magdraft swimbait. Steve Kennedy was flipping a big jig into a laydown near my house and winched out a big smallie in the 2021 regular season event. Nobody can really catch any of them with their small finesse baits on sonar until Gustafson unlocked that. Still yet he is the only competitor capable of that and only came in with 2 fish during his 2023 classic victory (also the river wasn’t flooded that year). Funny how that works , 1 angler out of 53 was scoping/vertical fishing and all you hear is “they are just cheating out there with that sonar!” meanwhile the other 52 guys are throwing jigs cranks and spinners and everyone forgot
  23. I use a couple little solar panels I got from academy for $35, they will charge one some but not if she’s dead. Seems like I put my voltimeter on the cord coming out of it and got like .43 volts. I have 12v troller so not tons of power. I charge my batteries at home with a 1 amp charger/maintainer so I’m not exactly charging a spaceship computer with my basic setup works a lot better plugged into an outlet but clearly that’s not an option. Definitely wouldn’t use solar for a tournament
  24. Solar (And an anchor in case it’s not too sunny out) some folks have it rigged where the engine alternator charges the the trolling battery.
