  1. I get checked probably a dozen times a year
  2. @RipzLipz, I had some game wardens pull up to me on the Holston , asked if I had anything in the livewell. I said I’ve got 4 smallmouth that are under the slot (like I said you can keep 4 under 13”) they said “under?? That’s not good.” I said well the limit is under 13”, they had no idea haha
  3. It’s quite complicated. flowing rivers have a PLR on SMb also, don’t know if that’s state wide. You can keep 5, 4 under 13” and one over 17”. Or all 5 under 13”. And 13” is not under 13” and 17” is not over 17”.
  4. Hey @gimruis, kyoya Fujita grew up fishing constantly….. from the bank
  5. I can break 15 inch lb braid very easily. The first time I spooled it up I broke it several times in a row just popping a snag to free it. Too many rocks around here. I wouldn’t even use the 10 lb for bluegill
  6. Replacing a carb is easier than cleaning one and very cheap
  7. @Blue Raider Bob, I did see something called duck river bottoms that I believe was considered part of KY lake on the regulations , which would be 15” minimum here in east TN it’s mostly SMB and the limit is 18” just about everywhere in the Knoxville area. Upper east TN I think it goes back to 15” on several lakes. Takes a lifetime to know all the regs, the game wardens have to use a cheat sheet
  8. Honestly I rarely fish in cover. I need to change that, especially looking at @T-Billys bass pictures before he got all esox addicted I like fishing open water on the bottom or the top
  9. ^simple as that! If one mechanic had to replace 4000 carbs, I’d say there’s still plenty of gunk to go around despite the rumored drop in sales of gumout 😂
  10. @gimruis, what would be even cooler is if you got paid a UPS driver salary to ship your stuff home driving it in your own truck
  11. Fujita grew up fishing off the bank and dominating tournaments before live sonar. He’s just good at catching fish
  12. Hahah woops @RipzLipz, meant to mention @gimruis. Trying to ween myself of using the quote button and you can see how well that went
  13. @gimruis, kyoya can catch them just fine without FFS, he’s not 5 years old. He just so happens to be very good with it and had a heck of a rookie season . But he didn’t just start fishing when live sonar came out. I bet he would dominate this no live sonar league
  14. @RipzLipz, donate those bucks to me, they are delicious. And they eat the same thing as a doe . I’ve also eaten big largemouth and striper that people say is the best fish they’ve ever had, no preconceived notions the resort serves sturgeon fillets, i ate them myself. They are delicious I ate elk yesterday my in-laws use only old dairy cows that won’t give anymore for beef too many examples to list delicious mature animals only exception I can think of is an uncut wild boar over 200 lbs, they stink
  15. The funny part of it all to me is now everyone has a doorbell camera so they can watch people steal their packages and still never catch them
  16. Nope id have better luck trying to just grab a fish like a grizzly bear
  17. Sturgeon is indeed good eating. I work at an extremely acclaimed high end resort that serves it . 5 star Age doesn’t not equal bad flavor
  18. I’m glad you got it down pat! My leader tying days are in the rear view and I couldn’t be happier about it. When I first started working as a fly fishing guide a thousand years ago, my boss said just sit there and practice knots while you are watching TV at night, it worked pretty well. All these years later, I don’t have TV and I don’t tie leaders 😂
  19. @DaubsNU1, perfect! 😂
  20. We have tons and tons and tons of water but no natural lakes and very few ponds (mostly just for cows on private land. It’s all rolling downhill. Without TVA we would all live on top of a cliff just to stay above the floods. Chattanooga’s old school prime real estate is actually up on rock cliffs, you can still see the English ivy they brought across the ocean hanging off the rocks 100 feet above your head when you are fishing the river I live right near water and wouldn’t have it any other way. I must fish to live. Often.
  21. id bout rather just puke than even smell jack daniels but he has sure put TN on the map
  22. At my house it’s not a problem but most people in my neighborhood pick up their packages from the post office instead of having them left on the porch. Porch pirates are rampant
