  1. My strike king red eye shads and 3xds swelled up and exploded in a tackle box
  2. Be careful a long season just gives the bass time to get smarter. From what i read on here the bass bite better up north....... Then again i couldn't handle the long harsh winters
  3. Im not worried about fish seeing them, its just one more thing i dont want to buy. Im good at tying knots and biting through line
  4. Paper or plastic??
  5. Ive got the logs part figured out, i catch them around timber all the time. I still need work on the WP part, one bite in about 6 months so far
  6. Im going to give them heck all weekend and maybe this evening too
  7. First skunk of the year???? No sympathy from me as I’ve had 3 this week alone. Sounds like a year to remember!!
  8. @keagbassr, always keep an empty Taco Bell cup in the boat! I haven’t sank yet.......
  9. Snowing sideways is what i wait for every year
  10. I forgot to add: dont believe the forecast
  11. Magellan makes good stuff but the weather is not very foul here. I would invest the most in an outer shell that wont leak
  12. @Jigfishn10, a swivel on a worm??
  13. Deep winter smallmouth is probably my favorite thing ever. I use basically two setups : 1) spinning rod with 6 lb mono. Lures are all on a 1/8 oz ball head jig. Bitsy tube, 2.5 inch gulp minnow, 2.5 inch paddle tail shad grub, or zoom finesse worm. 2) baitcaster with 10-12 lb mono. Lures are spoon, blade bait, rattle trap, or suspending jerkbait
  14. Ive got nothing. Still a couple months left though
  15. Im starting to think its just not the best lure for where i live. The river near my house is all logs
  16. Ive tried them everywhere i can think, its useless near weeds thats for certain
  17. I’ve caught them when it was 33, I think you’ll be fine at 73
  18. Never use them. I put split rings on spoons and blade baits
  19. Didnt write them down. Nothing different than usual
  20. Ha! Not sure but ive heard the water flows inward into these billabongs that terminate. In my neck of the woods theres a whole lot of water underground. Lots and lots
  21. I’d pay $30 to catch that many!
  22. Mountain hardware! I’ve had two of them in my entire life, one is the jacket im wearing in my avatar. You can stand under a waterfall in these and stay dry, ive tried it! Rain jacket is the one piece of gear I will spend some money on (although my current one was a gift) because I live in a rainforest. I’ve heard the smoky mountains area is the 3rd rainiest place in the US behind Hawaii and Seattle
  23. All waterways go somewhere and flow in an out of each other. Unless you live in Australia
