How Long Can You Keep A Fish In A Cooler/fridge Before You Clean It?
That's a bass and 2 drum. I throw whole fish in my fridge overnight all the time and clean them the next day. It coagulates the blood and makes for much easier cleaning process.

The sequatchie river might be just what you are looking for. Small tube jigs and topwater are my favorites

How to NOT hookset fish in practice
From what I've seen on YouTube of Scott Martin and Jacob wheeler, you just feel the bite and let the fish swim around with the bait and no resistance. Wheeler says he can somewhat tell how big they are by the way the bite feels

My cousin used to work at a federal penitentiary and he says family stress is way more enjoyable than when someone is trying to strangle you with your own neck tie haha

I'm going this evening with some Limblines for catfish, I told my buddy my left hand was at 60 percent haha. We would all be dead if our dogs wanted us to be! I think they could take down Ali and Marciano

Just remember you are more important in someone's eyes than the birds of the sky that don't plant nor harvest nor store in barns, yet they are taken care of. Don't hesitate to ask us for help if you need it!

my girlfriend's friend is obsessed with rescuing dogs and she works at a hospital so hopefully she can help me if need be.

Well somehow the dog toy ended up amongst all 3 dogs and one of them was asleep. So they all started fighting and my dumb$&@ belly flopped into the middle of it all. Dogs fight very well, won’t do that again. After I realized I wasn’t going to be able to pry them apart, I remembered they are terrified of the broom. Had it not been for that broom I might have ended up in the ER! Haha. One of them was biting the heck out of my left hand, it’s throbbing

- LMB on Long Deep Points - Up, Down or Across?
I always cast up shallow and drag it down the drop . I read on here a few times from @WRB to work jigs uphill and I've read @A-Jay say to start shallow and work your way out deep. I've tried dragging baits uphill and they just get stuck so I think the answer to your question varies by region and/or type of water you are fishing. All we have is rivers or rivers with dams so most points and drop off are steep and Rocky and littered with logs. Therefore I have much more success dragging baits downhill. I'm always stuck or retying dragging uphill- Will the Rain Ever Stop????
Not after the lip sync incident of course- Will the Rain Ever Stop????
We had several straight days of off and on rain but today is sunny/ windy/ much less humid. It feels quite refreshing..... Guess I'll have to go fishing again.- Will the Rain Ever Stop????
I also enjoy "have you ever seen the rain" and "who'll stop the rain" by credence- Michigan Largemouth Bass Record ?
@12poundbass, oh yeah, I forgot about that. No wonder you have so many toothy dinosaurs swimming around up there- Michigan Largemouth Bass Record ?
The right conditions are often when they first build a dam. That’s why a lot of fish records are from 30s-50s. WHen you first flood a river, the fish populations boom like crazy. There’s a dam near here that was built in ‘76 so a lot of people remember it well. They all say the fishing was easy and the fish were huge, then everything eventually balanced out . Our oldest lakes are the most infertile- Had my hardest hit ever yesterday
There’s a couple ponds where I work weekends that bass have become trained to do that. It’s pretty wild, I’ve seen them knock the bluegill up onto dry land. On rare occasions you can hook a bluegill with a size 20 zebra midge and when then bass eats it, the hook somehow transfers and you can land the bass. After much experimentation I would say it’s about a 5% success rate but it does happen- Other Species Latest Catch Pics Thread
Went trolling for toothy critters and the water was too high and fast. Or so I thought........... 60 degree surface temp and rolling like crazy, I can’t believe I caught this sauger in the first 10 minutes. Must have been my hound that sniffed it out - Other Species Latest Catch Pics Thread
