  1. Daiwa Aird X has excellent reviews on TW, I believe it's $55
  2. I'd go heavy for that line size. for what it's worth, I've always Texas rigged with a MH rod and 15lb line and have never felt like I needed heavier line.. unless your punching mats 15-17lb is plenty
  3. Wood- jig Everything else- Texas rig
  4. Tournament MB is fantastic, that's the only Lews I've owned as I'm currently on a Tatula kick. ?
  5. I'd do 30-40# braid and adjust the leader accordingly. Or straight 15# mono or copolymer
  6. I've owned quite a few $100 price point rods and the Irod Fiber has been the best for me, it's not even close really. The 7'5" heavy is rated up to 2 oz
  7. I use a Daiwa DX Type LT 7'4" H/F ($119.99 on TW) pair that with a Tatula CT or SV and its a killer heavy frog setup
  8. Good to know. TW is doing the same
  9. Poppin pad crasher is great, it can be easily walked too. Walks easier too IMO
  10. 2 rods if I'm bank fishing, 1 if I'm wading the river, 4 if I'm on the boat.

    April fool's?
  12. Wacky or neko rigged senko.
  13. Rod. Weight and balance are the most important things to me. $150-$300 range for rods, $100-$200 range for reels, typically.
  14. I'll use both, typically 1/4oz
  15. Tacklewarehouse 95% of the time I live 5 mins from Bass Pro, I'll occasionally grab some tackle from them.
  16. Those are auctions.
  17. Welcome!
  18. If I had to do that I'd do a 7' MH/F baitcasting. #50 braid and then add a leader based on technique
  19. In summer... frog. Even if the conditions aren't right for it I'll try to force that bite before I try anything else. Then I'll bounce around between a Texas rig and spinnerbait most of the time.
