  1. Someone please tell me the story on the different colors of the Daiwa boxes, Is it year model, country of origin or grade of reel? This old dummy needs to know.
  2. And I bet I am not catching any more fish but dog gone I am having fun. Went from hating bait casters to cant live without em had to double up
  3. Well it may not cast 2 miles but I like Kastking Fortis, I use 30, 40 and 50LB depending on what reel I spool it on. Very cheap and no problems as of yet. I tried 20 LB Spider but it was either too small or I am not good enough to use it. Backlashed all the time
  4. go very early in the morning [ before six ] or late in the pm after 8 Heck, I don't care for this hot weather either Heck, I don't care for this hot weather either
  5. I have nothing good to say , so I want say anything
  6. My first Daiwa Tatula SV TW 6.3 I paid $165.00 for the Curado 70 was $149.00 Both are good reels I see very little difference in how far they cast. The Daiwa may cast a yard or 2 farther. The Tatula holds much more line and almost backlash free. Both are smooth operating. I bought another Tatula SV TW in 8 .1 off ebay for $134.95 with free shipping. If the 70 had of been on sale I would have bought it. You will not be disappointed with either reel The 70 fits in your palm better American had the Tatula CT 100XS for $79.99 but have sold out. I bought 2 of them. They are good reels and about the same size as the Curado 70 I think they can be had for $90 or so
  7. Daiwa Tatula SV TW 103XS 8.1:1 $i35.00 shipped on ebay I have a pair of them smooth reels I also have 70 also a nice reel

  11. Give them the water for a few days. No big deal. And I work 5 and a half days a week! It just boils down to the type of guy you are in general
  12. I here all about distance, BUT no one ever states how far in yards!! About 40 yards is as far as I can cast a 5/8 oz lure. I have Daiwa Tutalas Shamino Curados KVD Quantums and kastkings the Tutala may cast a yard or 2 more but is as smooth as silk all are new this year Don't waste your money, there is no magic reel as far as distance
