  1. That's your answer
  2. It wouldn’t matter to me. I love the taper of the Tatula fast MH rods. Great jig and t rig rods. Also great for belly weighted swim baits and swim jigs.
  3. There is a 7'3" and 7'6" MH version of the tatula line of rods.
  4. I think Covid had the main impact on what you’re talking about, not the government. Wall Street/big corporations will always bleed anything and everything they can.
  5. Loomis 752c JWR, 20lb braid to 12lb FC leader no swivel. I use a Metanium MGL and can cast better than any spinning set up.
  6. Tatula 150 is one of the most solid reels I’ve ever used, regardless of price. great reel.
  7. On my kayak I like the 844 more, it's easier to deal with. It's a great rod for so much stuff. I use it for 1/2oz jigs, swim jigs, big spinner baits, frogging, whopper ploppers, big paddle tails (over 5"). That's my 2 cents.
  8. I’d get the best Loomis 852JWR you can afford. It’s the perfect taper for what you want.
  9. Agree, a Loomis MBR, but the JWR line of Loomis rods are the extra fast. Both are excellent.
  10. I disagree with that, the leader should be a larger diameter than the braid main line. You will often see salt water guys using a 20lb FC leader on 15lb braid. O.P. 12lb is a perfect match for 10lb braid.
  11. Fat Albert grub on a simple 1/8 ball jig head.
  12. 4 or so years, then I turn it around and get another 4 years. It will probably last longer than 4 years tho.
  13. Why 50lb? Use 30lb. I can use 40lb braid and 20lb FC leader and have it fly through semi-micro guides. Maybe you're not trimming your leader close enough to the knot?
  14. Try McCoy line. It's nice and limp, and ties great knots. I use 6lb as a drop shot leader, and 15lb as a top water leader. excellent line.
  15. G Loomis: GLX 844 mbr IMX 843 mbr IMX-pro 852 JWR all of these come on every trip. Sometimes more than one each. The current 721 SJR is that rods twin. Excellent rods! I have an old 720 gl3 that’s an awesome stream rod
  16. I have all of last season on two JDM reels, and they feel as they did when new. I used them for jigs and t rigs, and the hook sets were very solid. Fantastic reels.
  17. That reels needs a drop of oil on the brakes every 5-6 fishing trips. It's in the manual.
  18. Wear it every time, every second your on your kayak.
  19. Gambler little otter is solid bodied. what you’re looking for
  20. That’s great, thanks guys
  21. Can anyone who has a Zolo let me know what size the guides are on the casting rods? Are they micro, or middle sized?
  22. 2-Zillion 1000 G 3-Metanium 1-Bantam 1-tatula CT Type R 2-Tatula SV tw 2-Tatula SV 103 2-Curado K 200 4-Tatula LT (3)-2000 and (1)3000 1-Stradic 2500
  23. San Diego jam knot is super easy, and I have never had a knot failure with FC line.
  24. Never had an issue with them. Every time something needed to be resolved, it was. I think it’s best to not depend on something arriving in a time frame you make up, to use for a specific trip. You will be more disappointed if something goes wrong. Things happen, people make mistakes, shippers screw up. I’ve had rods go missing, get broken, and get damaged during shipping. If it happens deal with it. Too much complaining about stuff, you don’t like a company don’t use them.
