What Makes For A Good Chatter Bait Rod ?
6.5' or 7' Loomis MH Fast MBR. Does it all.

Why do we "mimic" fish
Because bass eat anything that's alive in the water. Crawfish, hellgramites, larvae, birds, snakes, bugs, frogs are all food, and none on them have a fish profile. Of course they eat fish too. Bass are triggered to hit baits, as much as want to eat them. Lots of reasons to throw different baits.

Ned rig- straight braid?
8lb Power Pro to 8lb Red Label Flouro, FG knot. I keep my leader at about 5-6'.

20 lb vs. 30 lb Braid for Baitcaster
You wont have a problem. Use mono backing up to about 2 casts worth of braid, and you wont have an issue. I have a Curado 70 and a Tatula Sv TWS with 15lb Power Pro Super SLick V2 and don't have any issues. I've caught multiple 3lbers on these rigs.

How would you rank these higher end rods?
I'd take the Kistler off your list. Put a Loomis IMX-Pro MBR on there. Fantastic rods.

medium light casting rod
Hi. I'm selling a beautiful rod for what you are looking for. Perfect for a Ned Rigs. I just got an IMX-Pro to replace this one. Take a look, it's incredibly light weight and comfortable.

Is throwing a thinner line more prone to being blown by the wind?
What do you mean by heavier weight. It weighs more than original Power Pro of the same Lb test? Have you weighed it against other lines? Just curious.

Help me like straight fluorocarbon
Why? Why bother?

Tatula Elite blowing up my spool every cast.Help?
Cool. I bet that was the issue. I always check that when I open my Diawa reels. Just push the inductor lightly straight down to make sure it's moving freely. Your problem really seems like the cast control wasn't working at all.

Tatula Elite blowing up my spool every cast.Help?
My guess would be that when you took it apart you touched the inductor that was probably stuck, maybe a piece of dirt, and it was freed. Now the cast control system is working. Do you remember moving the inductor when you opened it up? Was it moving freely?

Jig Rod? Expride A, Dobyns Champion?
I have fished the Champion 704c, but never an Expride A. The Champion would be great for your needs, I know some people say the Expride is more sensitive tho. Dobyns rods feel great, are well balanced, and well made. You wont be disappointed in it. Others will chime in soon. My favorite rod for what you are describing would be a Loomis IMX-Pro 853c, but it's more expensive. The 803c would be better for skipping. Shorter version of the IMX-Pro

Dobyns Fury as an “extra” rod
Fury 663c is a great everything rod. Balances great with Curado K. I also use all Loomis IMX, GLX, and E6x rods, and the sensitivity is much less with the Fury. However for moving stuff, and even 1/4oz jigs you will enjoy it. It’s also a decent crank bait rod. I have one as a beater rod, and like it quite a bit.

6.3:1 Or 7.3:1 For Versatile Reel?
There's no answer. Everyone thinks differently on the topic.

G-Loomis 843 or 844?
The 803c JWR rod you ask about, is right in the MH zone. Great for 1/4-3/8oz jigs plus trailer. Great rod.

20 lb vs. 30 lb Braid for Baitcaster
I’m not lying, and have been using 15lb PP Super Slick on a Curado 70 without issue, and have caught some 3lbers using jigs with 12lb leader.

20 lb vs. 30 lb Braid for Baitcaster
I go down to 15lb Power Pro SS V2 on my Shimano Curado 70 without issue. GO 20! It's easy to cast, and has less drag than 30lb. And it's fun to fish with too.

Dobyns Champoin XP 705c Frogs & S-Waver 168
What do you feel would make it a bad choice for that bait?

Dobyns Champoin XP 705c Frogs & S-Waver 168
Hello Does anyone have a 705c and throw 168 S-Wavers with it? Frog with it? I'm sure it would make a nice jig rod too. I'm looking for a heavy rod to do a few things. Where I fish I don't need 65lb braid and giant heavy rod for frogging. Don't want to go over 7' Thanks

Are graphite reels really bad?
They are ok, but don't last long under hard use. They also tend to be noisier, and transmit gear vibration to your hand more easily. I used to have some graphite Lew's reels, and they had about two years in them, then started getting loose, and vibrating more. However they can be good for lighter use, and for someone who doesn't fish that often. When I started fishing more, and heavier line I had to switch to metal reels. I do however love my Tatula LT spinning reels. I am mostly critical of graphite casting reels.

Looking to revamp my rod/reel selection
I'd avoid the Kistlers. I had bought them awhile back, and ended up selling them all. The Tatula SV TWS are killer reels, and you can get them for less money right now.

What G Loomis worm/jig rod should I get?
It's a killer rod. I caught two 6lbers this week on jigs, and man it's got that feel of reassurance when you set the hook.

What G Loomis worm/jig rod should I get?
I'm like you, and prefer G Loomis rods. 5' Senkos, 3/8oz jigs, 5/16/1/4oz t rigs, are all handled great by a 3 power IMX -Pro choose tour length 6'8" or 7'1". I got lucky and got one of those limited edition 7'2" IMX-Pro JWR rods, and it's a hell of a jig, T rig, spinnerbait, swim jig rod.

Marketing/Hype vs Science/Common Sense
I was referring to the guy in the video not mentioning IPT. In my 35 years of bass fishing I've never had a bass run full speed at me with my jig in its mouth, mostly just swimming towards me at moderate speed. I not sure a bass is tactically going to swim directly at a fisherman at it's full speed after eating what it thinks is a nice meal.
