  1. That WAS a favorite of mine.
  2. Wow! That is one heck of a dog!
  3. Wow! Return the lures to the retailer or directly to the company. I exchange EVERY lure that breaks regardless of the age and have NEVER been denied. Most companies send back two or three additional lures.
  4. Woo-Hoo! Welcome aboard! I look forward to meeting you and your husband. We have several couples coming including the Administrators, Keri & Glenn.
  5. Curado 50E Shop around or keep an eye on our Flea Market.. I bought mine "gently used" for $125. Then I had DVT supertune the reel. I have less than $175 in the reel and it is PERFECT!
  6. Me too...The 6" version weeds out some of the smaller fish. Unfortunately, I have a lot of 7" and they don't produce bigger bass than the 6".
  7. Tatsu is the best line I have ever fished period!

  9. If the bait will swim correctly, don't use any weight on the outside arms. I'm using LFT Live Magic Shad on a light wire, 4/0 Offset Worm Hook.
  10. It depends on how far you flip. If it's gennerally short, probably 10-20 feet, so the knot does not come into play. For pitching or casting I like it short, 1', so the knot doesn't even go through the guides. An easier solution is to spool backing and attach 60-80 yards of fluorocarbon. This saves a ton of money, especially if you try my favorite line. I have been testing several fluorocarbon lines for the past two years. Nothing compares to Seaguar Tatsu.
  11. Well, if you care about "bang for your buck" this is my best suggestion based on the reels I own: Curado 50E supertuned by DVT If you like round reels, CTE200GT I have a Calais, but not the DC. Those that own this reel claim there is NOTHING like it! You may be able to find a deal, but retail is $650.
  12. If line management is the main issue, a fluorocarbon leader attached to braided line is the answer.
  13. Here's an idea: Release the lure exclusively to BassResource.com members for testing and review!
  14. Shipping is free a lot of places on orders of $50 or more.
  15. I edited the post, try it again.
  16. These aren't brand new, but may be new to you: Mega Bug http://www.megastrikefishingproducts.com/shop/mega-bug-soft-plastic/ Menace http://www.ragetail.com/news/color-charts/rage-twin-tail-menace-color-selection/ These might become two of your favorites, all-time!
  17. Old School... We walked 5 miles back and forth on a dirt road to a one room school, uphill both ways!
  18. Great post! Before we had electronics trolling was the #1 tactic for locating fish.
  19. Welcome aboard!
  20. Don't give this reel to a rookie, it will be a nightmare. If you are comfortable with baitcasters fish it with any tackle for any technique. You certainly don't need special line.
  21. You really don't need to buy anything. Go through our videos which have been produced by a number of touring pros, including our very own Glenn May.
  22. Good luck! I edited your post and removed your phone number. -Kent a.k.a. roadwarrior Global Moderator
