  2. Man, there were a couple of moments when I thought he was going to lose it. Hitting those warning bumps seems awfully dangerous to me. There was a moment when I thought he was going to flip. Exciting...very exciting! ;D ;D ;D
  3. Why fish with anything you don't like? Sell the reel. 8-)
  4. Seattle vs. Pittsburgh, the Sea Hawks first and only appearance at The Big Dance. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_Bowl_XL
  5. Use an egg shaped weight, heavier than you think you need! 8-)
  6. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crayfish The "References" will lead you to articles and studies in much greater detail. You will be very surprised at how many species there are and the variations just in individual states. I suspect the Great Lakes Region has a thousand or more sub-species! There's a reason crawfish are often called "bugs". 8-)
  7. Take a look at this website, George Welcome has a few more suggestions. http://imaginationbassin.com/ 8-)
  8. The Memphis BPS has 1000 yard spools of Yo-Zuri Hybrid on sale for around $5. 8-)
  9. Glenn thinks the Lumaflex skirts REALLY make a difference. I'm going with his advice, swapping out the factory skirts and going all white. 8-)
  10. I haven't fished that series, but the specifications look interesting. I have recoils on a Loomis BCR which I'm happy with. I'm sure you will like the LIS70LM. St. Croix makes a fine rod!
  11. Assuming most of your presentations are under 1/2 oz, the MBR842C is one you might consider. For heavier jigs in deeper water, the MBR844C or BCR854. 8-)
  12. Nashville Four seasons and generally, a mild winter. Low cost of living, moderately low housing prices and no state tax. Nashville has all of the amenities of a big city without most of the hassles. Economy is both strong and diverse; state capital and World Capital of Country & Western Music! Four well know lakes and two rivers in the immediate vicinity. Largemouth, smallmouth, stripers, crappie, sauger, walleye, catfish and even trout within a few hours drive. It's worth a look. -Kent
  13. Why do the networks keep showing Jerry? As a sometimes fan, the man drives me crazy. It's hard being on your side and having to put up with that slug. :-X
  14. Sixteen-Twenty Knot http://206.210.94.83/collaterals/pdf/fhf_knot_sixteen_twenty.pdf 8-)
  15. Well, I'm a big fan of Mr. Bill Dance, but he endorses EVERYTHING! It's really past the point of being meaningful. :
  16. My main focus will be fishing the new Rage Tail soft plastics. The line up is innovative, awesome and I have had great luck with everything I have tried! Where to start? Smokin' Rooster, Shad and 10" Anaconda. http://www.ragetail.com/
  17. Lots of members are interested in MegaStrike. Seems like we ought to kick it up a notch... Bobby, how 'bout a BassResource.com special? With a little more incentive maybe everyone will give it a try. -Kent
  18. As Fred Flintstone would say, ABBA-dabba-do! ;D ;D ;D
  19. Well, you are and that's great! But...May 2 not March 2. 8-)
  20. No need to change the hooks. The Chrome Blue/ Orange is my best producer, especially at Guntersville. Good luck! -Kent 8-)
  21. Raytown South, Class of 1970. Good luck to you and the club! -Kent 8-)
  22. Where ya been? Nice to see you back on point! BTW, I have it on a reel to experiment with. Thanks, -Kent 8-)
  23. Hmm... I'm Mr. Black & Blue or Forest Green w/ Pepper Flakes. After seeing these combinations, I might not fish anything else! Those two patterns are a VERY close match to everything on the Tennessee River. They are beautiful! If they are for sale, I would like a dozen of each and the trailers. If I can mix and match, 6 of each 3/8 oz; 6 of each 1/2 oz. Seriously, send me a PM with the cost. -Kent
  24. From a man that knows and understands. -Kent
