I just bought an Alphas SV for 172 and Zillion SV for 224 on Amazon US through Amazon Japan. Like you said though, 2 week shipping and sales tax. Still a great deal though. Did you install an inline fuse in the positive wire? If so, it would have blown the fuse before it burned anything up. Like stated above, it probably turned off when you’re voltage dropped on the battery.
