  1. Ok this is biased because I’m a big Florida fan, but did the refs seem to be favoring Texas tech yesterday? There were a couple fouls on Chioza that were pretty clear weren’t fouls. Then Florida has the ball on the ground and a Texas tech player jumped on him and they called it a jump ball but when Texas tech was on the ground and a Florida player took it they called a foul. There were also some fouls that they called blocking on Florida even though it was clearly a charge but when Florida has the ball they kept calling offensive fouls. Like I said this is probably biased but it seemed like some of the worst calls I’ve ever seen in college basketball.
  2. Marshal just messed me up pretty bad.
  3. x2 I’ll just leave it there because he covered it much better than I can, great tips!
  4. Yep, it stinks because bass pros sales used to be amazing and now there might be like one or two actually good sales. Now tackle warehouse is doing it too, Disappointing.
  5. Looks like they’ve caught a couple fish!
  6. That’s awesome! Congrats!
  7. I definitely think he has a chance but I think there are better younger guys
  8. FL GATORS!!! going all the way! Already happened once last year in baseball. Underdog to champ!
  9. That’s what it looks like I found one on eBay now and it looks like it is only between like 5 and 10 dollars.
  10. That’s a nice fish! Welcome to bass resource!
  11. I use eagle claw snaps for punching jk I have used owner snaps and it will be just fine for crankbaits I have never had a problem. As long as your using good snaps and not doing massive hook sets(why would you with a crankbaits anyways) you’ll be fine.
  12. That’s a great combo you mentioned. I have never tried ultrasoft line so I can’t say I don’t like it but I generally use braid because there is no memory. The ultrasoft says it has less memory but I’m just saying make sure to try and get some line with not too much memory.
  13. Hey I have these old lures that I need help identifying. The top one is a hi Sport and I saw one on eBay for like $25 dollars. Do you think I could get around that for it? The bottom I have no idea what it is but it is squishy which is weird. It almost feels like there is goo on the inside. Any help identifying them and telling me how much they are worth would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
  14. I personally don’t have one but I’ve heard that with the lower end micro guides you can have some problems with them breaking. Now I have no idea what guides they have or anything but I’ve heard that the cheaper micro guides sometimes break. The veritas is a popular rod so it seems like they must be decent. Good luck! Every time I get a low price rod for a low price reel I end up upgrading the rod and then the reel and it turns into two combos but I still have the old combo and it goes on and on buying new ones.
  15. Your rich jk I have no idea if they except it or not
  16. Yikes now I’m worried, I don’t want to destroy my reels horsing fish to the boat through the cover.
  17. x2 I have never had a problem with a medium or medium light for wacky and I’ve had them run straight into the cover. I also don’t use spinning over medium, at that point I just use a baitcaster.
  18. Probably like 90% in store. I have a scheels, a tackle shop, and a Walmart all near my house so I do most of my shopping there. Scheels has pretty much anything I need and they will price match so that’s nice. The tackle shop has other not as popular “new” baits that you don’t generally find in other stores so if scheels doesn’t have a certain lure there’s a pretty good chance I can find it at the tackle shop. I like seeing the stuff before I buy it to make sure it’s the right thing and I get it right away so I don’t have to wait for shipping.
  19. Those are some nice fish and a sweet kayak. Welcome to bass resource!
  20. I have the st croix trout series and absolutely love it.
  21. That has gotta be a fight on a fly rod. Congrats!
  22. Don't be cheap. Buy stuff thats going to work. I've seen people who will buy a 20 pack of crankbaits off of amazon for $15. Instead buy two strike king ones that are going to actually work. This sounds like a no-brainer to people who have been fishing but i've seen people make that mistake and the lures don't work at all. I'm not saying yum dingers don't work and you have to buy yamamotos just stick with stuff that's fairly popular at first until you know a little more. Ordering bulk baits for cheep off of amazon or ebay from a brand that you've never heard of generally isn't a good way to spend your money.
  23. I know right! I went to my walmart with high hopes just to get let down.
  24. I dont know if this has been asked but how much does it cost to make one and how long does it take?
