Reeling hand?
I first learned to fish with a cane pole. Oh that doesn't count. I started out with a South Bend spincast rod and reel. Then had some Zebco 606 spincast reels. Still have one of them. They all had handles on the right. I learned to cast with my right hand and switch the rod to my left and reel right handed. That is how I learned and I never changed. I never even owned a spinning rod and reel until about 15 years ago. My first baitcasters were the old Ambassador 5000 reels. I still have them in storage. I first learned to fish with a cane pole. Reeling hand?
I'm like @HeyCoach with this. I cast right handed, switch the rod to my left hand and reel right handed. I do this with both casting and spinning setups. I wouldn't but a spinning reel I couldn't switch the handle around. Reeling with either hand may be okay but I have tried casting left handed and it wasn't a pretty sight.

IT CAN NOT BE STRESSED ENOUGH
I always wear mine when running the boat but I take it off when fishing unless it is cold. Then I leave it on. I use a standard PFD. I don't trust the ones that inflate. Considering the shape my knees are in I probably should wear it all the time.

This doesn't surprise me at all
I know we have our share of crazy drivers. I don't do a lot of traveling but when I do I hate driving in Ohio more than any place I've been in along time.

What color are your soft plastics?
Going back to the OP I love June bug on worms but I can't catch anything on June bug Baby Brush Hogs. Watermelon Seed is my best color for craws.

Practical Bass fishing Jokes
My dad worked for the water company. One night he was called in finish out the shift for the guy that worked 4:PM to midnight. Found out a water snake had crawled in a window that was open. He was so scared of snakes he went in to convulsions and hit the floor. Had to be taken to the hospital. He was found by another another water company employee that came over from another building. That is why I don't play games concerning snakes. Too many people are scared of them and react in many different ways.

Practical Bass fishing Jokes
Fellow I used to fish with would act like he got upset if I was catching more fish than he did. He would say if you catch another fish I will throw you overboard. I would tell him go ahead but to let me know which side of his butt he wanted me to hang the treble hooks of my crankbait in. Another time he threatened to leave me one the bank. I told him he would be back to pick me up. When he asked why I pulled the keys to his truck out of my pocket. Since we were in his boat I had put him in that day.

Tackle List HELP!
I have seen articles like you are talking about. They are done by the pro fisherman. Some info on this is good but you have to remember they are telling you to get products from the companies that are sponsoring them.

Giving Flourocarbon a try - First time user
I use Sufix Siege in 12# all the time. I like it better than any mono I have used. Can't say how the 17# will handle. I also use 10# on my spinning rods.

Weekend of the 19th Snow Storm
We got about over an inch of rain Saturday and into the night. Then temps dropped below freezing and changed over to snow. We got about 1.5" of snow on top of all the ice that formed from the rain. Temp is about 20 here now. May get up to 25 tomorrow. We came out better than a lot of people did.

Classic Plastic
I have caught fish on several different colors of Baby Brush Hogs. I bought a pack of them in Junebug several years ago and never caught a fish on them. I'm not sure I ever got a bite in that color but I catch them on worms in Junebug quite a bit.

Classic Plastic
The Baby Brush Hog in green pumpkin and the ribbon tail worm in purple have caught more fish for me than any other soft plastic.

If I do get it I would be using it as a buyer. I doubt I would use it a seller.

Paypal
Since the thread about online buying is bringing up a lot about Paypal I thought I would start one. I don't have a Paypal account but have considered it. What are the advantages and disadvantages to using this. I have had credit cards compromised twice. I don't want something else that would be a security risk. Thanks for any info.
