Saw an article a few years ago in a magazine. It said Zoom created the Green Pumpkin color. It was created by accident and whoever they made the baits for refused them. They found someone else to buy them. And as they say, the rest is history.

Go to there website home page from a computer. There is a headline in the news section that says the wish list is under construction. All of you that think you have been saving money forget it. The bait monkey is waiting to pounce on you.

I usually throw 1/2 ounce jigs. I will go lighter if I feel I need to downsize to get more bites.

I had never heard of removing the bail until I read this thread. I wouldn't want to remove the bail on mine. I don't have a problem closing the bail by hand.

The one I saw on the news was such a good fake it had a security link an d if you clicked it check it it took you to PayPals actual website. If I remember right instead of PayPal it had Paylink or something very similar on it.

I don't know what it is but my boat and motor would have been destroyed if I ever tried that.

I apologize if I posted some wrong info on the trade ins. I have never seen anything in the sale flyers stating you could trade a rod for a reel or reel for a rod.

I sharpen hooks on spinner baits and buzz baits some. Sometimes I will sharpen treble hooks while out on the boat but will replace them later. These people that talk about how quick they can change out treble hooks while fishing have a whole lot better system for doing it than I do.

I have caught fish on Baby Brush Hogs in PB&J. Also had good luck with PB&J football jigs. I just got some Zoom Ultra Vibe Speed Craws in PB&J to use as trailers on them. I may try them on a Texas rig someday.

My dad started me out fishing for bream and crappie when I was about 6 or 7. Most people don't think about doing that these days. Starting a kid out bass fishing can be rough if the fish aren't very active.

I've had my best luck on green pumpkin and watermelon seed. Berkley has a color called Breen in the crazy legs chigger craw that has been very good. Caught LMB and SMB on it.

I'm glad I don't have that problem. Some doctor diagnosed me with C.F.D. or Compulsive Fishing Disorder. I told him he didn't know what he was talking about.

We had a record high temp today. Old record 67 in 1925. Today 72. Supposed to be down in the mid 20s tonight with snow flurries. High tomorrow mid 30s if we're lucky.

I quit buying Abu Garcia after I had two of the Revo S reels 3rd generation that were garbage. Both of them had the same problem. Saw many reviews of others that had them and had the same problem. I don't ever plan on buying anything else they make.

An inflatable has to be worn to be counted as acceptable here in Kentucky too. I am currently using a BPS blue and gray standard PFD. I would like to find a better one. I have seen some brands in this thread I have never heard of.

I saw a story on the news on tv tonight about a PayPal scam. Someone has created what is a near perfect e-mail that looks like it came from PayPal but did not. People got scammed out of $3000 in merchandise thinking the money was with PayPal. Turned out to be a fake e-mail. If you deal with PayPal make sure everything is legit. Just thought I would let people know about this.
