BPS Fishing Classic Info?
Cabelas used to have a spring sale in mid to late March. I don't know what they will do now that Bass Pro owns Cabelas.

Been looking for years
I got rid of cable almost a year ago. Yes I have gone old school and using these things called antennas on my tvs. Don't have a lot of channels but i'm not paying for 200 channels I don't want. We had Spectrum cable and they are terrible. Have a new company in town just getting started to compete with them. Company is Metronet but I don't know anything about them yet as to how good there service is.

Fishing line for night vs day
Years ago I used Stren clear blue florescent line for everything with no problems. Used it for day and night fishing. I would have to check to see if it is still available.

PFD colors
I think I will be staying with a standard PFD. I don't think I can make myself trust an inflatable.

PFD colors
As mentioned before I use a standard PFD. How long do the inflatables hold up after being activated before they start deflating?

Do folks still use this pistol grip style rod?
I still use several 5'6" and 6'BPS Crankin Stick and Bionic Blade rods. Don' know if they still have them since they have been changed over to a split grip handle. The 5'6" rod is great for top water poppers and walking baits especially if you sit down to fish.

PFD colors
The latest sale thread appears to have been hijacked and I apologize as this was my fault. The discussion is about PFD colors and safety. @A-Jay pointed out to me the error of my ways in wearing a natural color PFD. Several others have made the same comments. What are your thought on PFDs. I know I see a lot of people that don't use them.

Happy Groundhog Day!!!!
I'm glad that crazy Pa. groundhog did not see his shadow. I am ready for spring to get out fishing again. I hope somebody shoots any groundhog that says otherwise.

Latest Tackle Purchase Thread (Bait Monkey Victim Support Group)
I always get mine in more natural colors to match the background for when I do wear it while fishing. Never thought about what color it needs to be if I ended up in the water. I use a standard PFD. I don't trust inflatables to work.

Ain't This Da Truth?
I don't think he is worried about catching fish. He is just trying to see how many crank baits he can get to play with.

Worm Binder Replacement Pages
I think you would be better off getting some new worm binder bags instead of trying to cut and reseal everything.

98 Tracker: Decent deal?
You only mention a 40 HP mercury motor. If it is a Mercury it should be okay. If it has the Force engine you would be better off to walk away from that deal. I have a 98 Bass Tracker 175 that came with a Force engine. I blew a cylinder in it after having about 2 years. That motor also gave me other problems before that.

What in the heck did I just do?

If I remember right they usually release the info about a week to ten days before it starts.

This doesn't surprise me at all
She wasn't in the state of Ohio. She was in a state of confusion caused by side effects from some medication her doctor had her on. Honestly I have been up to Columbus and cut across to Cabelas in Wheeling West Va. twice. If I remember right it was on I 70. Most of the drivers and especially the truckers were being very careful and running the speed limit. Driving In Columbus and Cincinnati are a whole other story.

Mid diving crankbaits
I have good luck with Bandit 200 series, and Norman Middle N. I used the originals. I don't know how good they are now that Pradco owns them.
