Anyone throw Pink Worms or baits as a first choice or consistently?
So when did fish get to be fashion critics?

Daylight Savings Time
You need to do what I did. Bought a snow blower with a headlight on it. Hate to make people mad but we haven't had enough snow here to use it yet this winter.

New Content?
I am getting the same thing. I didn't think I had done anything to get the moderators upset. I am on my home computer. I can go to the individual forums and I can read some threads but I a still blocked on others.

advice on taking new fisher women out
I would set them up with Texas rigs with grubs or Zoom Ultra Vibe Speed Craws. Centipedes should also work well for them.

Gonna give the tube thing a try...
One thing I would recommend is using a barrel swivel and a leader with a tube. They tend to spiral on the fall and and will cause line twist problems. The only time I use a tube anymore is if everything else has failed to get a bite. I have caught fish on tubes but not enough to make me want to keep using them on a regular basis.

200b
I have some that I still use. I just cleaned a 5:1 yesterday that I use for spinnerbaits. I have a 6:1 I keep in the boat as a backup in case I have a problem with one my others. I even have a 3:8:1 I use for slow retrieves in cold water. Have a couple of others that are worn out but I keep them for spare parts if needed.

Developing a pattern!!
The rain faucet finally got turned off up here. Cumberland Lake may break its all time record it is up so high right now. It is supposed to be dry for several days now and we need it to dry out. Last year we had our wettest year on record and we already have over 11" of rain so far this year.

What kind of line to do you normally T-rig?
For a jig or Texas rig I use Sunline Super Florocarbon 12#.

Could use some positive thoughts!
Prayers sent. Hope everything gets better soon. I have been diagnosed as borderline diabetic in the past. It is since gone away. Maybe this will happen for him too.

Boat batteries
I used a small stiff wire brush like plumbers use to clean copper fittings. I also used sandpaper on some the small terminals that hook to the battery.

Shimano Nasci
When are we going to see the pictures of the first fish you catch with it?

Spinnerbait trailers
I am like @scaleface and @Bank Beater. I don't throw spinnerbaits a lot but when I do I don't use a trailer. I always use a trailer on a bladed jig.

Spincast reels
When BPS came out with the Extreme spincast reel I bought two of them for my wife to use. I was originally planning to get the Goldcast. When I told the guy working the reel counter what they were for he recommended the BPS reel. Said they were a little smaller and sat lower on the rod and would be better for smaller hands. They have four bearings and 27 IPT line pickup. She loves them. They have not seen extremely heavy use but the have held up good and seem to be okay for reels in the $25 price range.

What would you do if you were me?
I would go with the 6:3:1. I use them for Texas rigs with no problem.

Skipping Lures
You still haven't paid me for those lessons I gave you. I am just fishing for fun. I try to buy reels in the $150 or less price range. I can't spend $300 or $400 for a reel.

Boat batteries
Just because a battery is sealed thinking it is maintenance free is wrong. You still have to clean the the terminals and the connectors that hook to the battery periodically. I learned this the hard way when my motor quit one day and I came back in on the trolling motor. All I did was clean them and everything was fine.

Skipping Lures
I am usually using a Lews Tournament MB for skipping. I do have some older Shimanos I could try. I have some old Curado B and Citica D reels I could try skipping with.

Skipping Lures
I have never had any luck trying to skip baits with a bait caster. I have seen many videos explaining the mechanics of skipping and how to do it. I always end up with a major birds nest. One thing I have never seen discusses the weight. What is considered the ideal weight or weight range I need to be using to try to skip baits? Thanks in advance for any help.

Underrated lures / companies? Are we paying for names?
The Deep Wee R was my favorite. You are right about the hooks. I don't remember any short shank hooks being available back then.
