Tube fishing for largemouth
Thanks for the tip. I had given up on tubes but I never thought about using them on a Ned rig.

Is this enough trolling motor?
I won't comment on which TM to go with. You will need to find out if the wiring needs to be a bigger size to handle the load of a larger trolling motor.

Good grubs for finesse bass?
The only grubs I have tried are the Zoom Fat Albert grubs. I use mine as a Texas Rig. I use a 1/0 Skip Gap hook with an 1/8 ounce sinker. Seem to have my best luck with watermelon seed color. Have had good luck with SMB on root beer pepper green color.

What lure caught your biggest bass in 2019 ?
Zoom Baby Brush Hog. LMB around 4 pounds. Didn't catch any SMB big enough to even mention.

First time catch on one I painted
Congratulations on catching the bass. Very nice looking lure. Sometimes the simplest color patterns are the best ones to use.

New the board, REALLY need good advice here!
I have to agree with all the other posts on going with a 6:2:1 for crankbaits of any kind. I also find it harder to make myself slow down when using higher speed reels.

Most expensive lure you own
My most expensive lures are Lucky Craft Pointers and Sammys. I will never spend any more than that for a lure.

Stripping Off Old Line ~
When you take your old line to BPS you need to take it to the counter in the fishing department to turn it in. They have the box they put it in behind the counter. That is how it has been at the ones I have been to

Stripping Off Old Line ~
I might change line couple of times a season depending on how much fishing I have been able to do. I like taking the line off by hand. It is easier to find the knot where it is tied on to the backing. That is where I cut it and tie on the new line.

Stripping Off Old Line ~
I still strip my line off by hand. I put the old line in a sack and when it has quite a bit in it I take it to BPS, Cabelas, or some other place that recycles fishing line and turn it in.

The latest sale thread
Some of their reels will be marked down. This is when they have reel trade in days where you get so much off depending on the cost of the reel. I am not sure about Daiwa but if my memory is correct Shimano was not discounted or included in the trade in program.

towing questions
I would rather have 4WD. I have seen too many 2WD vehicles have trouble getting up ramps when they were really wet from a lot of people bringing there boats out. I put mine in 4WD a lot of times just to be on the safe side. You are pulling a pretty heavy boat. I definitely would want 4WD pulling that much weight..

Black crankbaits
You all are going to keep on with this till the bait monkey starts telling me to go buy some black crank baits.

What do you have to force yourself to do in 2020?
I need to use what I have that has never seen water and quit trying so many colors of soft plastics. I need to throw topwaters more and super flukes more. Some day I may try a Ned rig again. I have not and will never use an A rig.
